Don't know how long offer on for. Advertised on tv and still on their website.

It is being sold for £127 at some other stores. (Argos/Comet) Argos has the £10 voucher offer for £100+ spend
until Tuesday 16th Nov. Also consider cashbacks/nectar.
Saving £70 is very Tempting, I am still deciding if I will really make use of it myself. Have seen it on Ideal World and it did look impressive.
There are some mixed reviews about it re some having troublesome catches/hinges/paddles and overheating.

It is the same price at Tesco Direct and also part of the Double Up voucher scheme. I have just ordered one using £50 of vouchers (doubled up to £100) and paying £9. I have been tempted to get one for a while, but they are so expensive and as you say get mixed reviews. I have plenty of clubcard vouchers I want to use up before the rewards scheme changes so have used some of them on this.

Some problematic reviews seem to bear out to the white model and the black one may be better.

There are different model numbers so I can't say which Is which. Many say never leave it unattended as they can burn out! It has been on Watchdog in the past but perhaps was early models.

Weird as was £127 @ TESCO Direct Thursday. Wonder if they have it instore?

Hi,I ordered from Tesco on Monday and paid £127,used £40 double up vouchers and paid balance.
Then to my shock Currys sell for £109.
Rang Tesco who would not match the price so I cancelled order and got a refund of £127.
This may be why the price has dropped on Tesco as the look at other sites and match them

Do you mind if I ask how they refunded the voucher part of your order? Did you get the e-vouchers back, refund of points onto next clubcard statement or even .... a cash refund??? TIA
  • I bought mine from Costco when they very first came out, Used all the time with no problems, 2 years later it broke, took it back to costco and got a brand new one. You can't beat costco for buying electrical goods, it breaks you take it back you get a full refund.... I cook tesco value oven chips in mine (don't use any oil as they are already coated) 74p a bag. Great value for money. They also do a great job of Aunt Bessies roast potatos which frees the oven up at Christmas. I think both times I paid £117.50 including VAT

I love my actifry :) it makes things much easier. I have even used it for sweet & sour pork now & currys which was nice. But mostly do potatoes/ chips/ wedges in it etc. I would definately recommend one to people.

Do you have to put oil in there for it to work properly? (frozen chip aside)

Even a tablespoon/measure of oil could be high in cals (better than deep fried though)

What does chicken turn out like??
