Do you definately need a camera? Are you taking a phone with you? If so I recommend the Sony Ericsson K800i.
The picture quality on the camera bit is superb and you would not need to lump a phone and a camera about.S!!!!horpe0 -
I've been looking for much the same thing only today - and I think this 7mpx Practica with 3x optical zoom and large LCD is an absolute steal at £99 (you could spend the 'spare' £50 on a few gig SD cards).

My BF used to work for Empire Direct and I've bought quite a few things from them. Can't fault their delivery, customer services or exchange policy.0 -

Remember megapixels are not everything!! Most likely this will have a rubbish lense, terrible noise reduction and image compression. Go for a camera from a well known manufacturer!!
The camera in the Argos link is what you should be looking for!!
This has got decent reviews!

Does anyone think the argos deal is good. Im happy to pay £150 or more if its for an awesome camera at a bargain price.0

you can get 10x optical zoom cameras for that price
See what you think of this one...

the lense folds back in to make the camera fairly compact.
Has good customer reviews too0 -
