@MV - yes please, write your birth story. I need something to do. :j I've been reading loads on babyandbump but they mean so much more when you 'know' the person.

@cutterby - sorry to see you go :( ((hugs)) Good luck with the pregnancy.

Clearly my brain isn't working properly - when I first read that I wondered why you needed to practise weeing.

LOL no practice needed there, some days I never stop (and sometimes it tends to creep out unannounced :o:D)

(((Hugs))) GFH - Is DH far? Can you go and be with him? Hard time I know :(

Its 5-7 hours away, and I have the DDs and work on Monday, so not really. I do feel torn though.

MV - Nice to see you. I too am awaiting your epic birth story :)

    Ditto this!

Cheers grateful just had a wee practice, I was always trying to multi quote the same post and not sure how that works, now I can multi quote different posts, pat on the back for me :D (jeez it's only taken me nearly 2 years to work it out LOL :o)

    Took me ages too.

Wow congrats on your weight gain or lack of, good for you!

Thanks. This is only a good. thing. as I was so overweight to start with.

MW driving me bonkers, been trying to rearrange 32 week appointment for a week...I don't have a number I can call her on, how daft is that?!

Thanks everyone... I really hope I'm not coming across as a moany attention seeking witch (or worse!) - I do know it's my own doing - it's just difficult to get back into the habit of posting and joining in more so ... Maybe I'll pop back one day to see the pictures of all the gorgeous babes but for now, I think it's right to bow out.

Thanks again... Logging out now and going for a bath, Creature seems to have taken a dislike to my ribs and is currently trying to remove them from the inside

  • I think I am going to go to bed while I am still relatively sane (!) and maybe take the lappy with me for the wee small hours when I can't sleep.

Hoping not to get a call to say MIL has left us, but of course knowing its inevitable.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Results from growth scan,

well baby is head down but unfortunatly it seems I have polyhydramnois. This is the opposite if what the midwife thought as I am only measuring 32 week at 37 weeks. My AFI is only just over the recommended level so my homebirth box is being withheld for now, I have a consultants appointment and a GTT at 38 weeks.

My midwife said basically the homebirth isnt going to happen and prepare for a hospital birth and i need to come in immediatly after waters go or first contraction (which is great as i have limited childcare during the week, no one else drives apart from me etc etc etc) just the thought stresses me out. She hinted that they like to induce or book in a section ladies with polyhydramnois as the risk of cord prolapse is higher than normal....

Here's me hoping not to go in to labour anytime soon.
