It's so annoying ice I like to have my lists on the lappy but it broke a few months ago and my brother fixed it but he said he would have to wipe everything including micrososft office. Of course I now can't find the disc which has word and excel on it. I used to have my montly expenditure on excel too and I really need it again. Going to have to do some serious searching.
Need that disc for my lists  LOL
Have you tried using Open Office? It's a free download version of everything you get with Microsoft, it's pretty good and you can open Excel sheets with it and Open Office sheets with Excel.

Well, I have just finished all my cleaning, well as much as I can be inclined to do anyway, just enough so it looks respectable!
Just ticked things off my list that I have already got, and I have more than I thought I did!
I'm quite excitied now, got a new car being delivered some time next week, new baby in 13 weeks and moving in with OH in the summer. What a fab year this is going to be.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -

ThanksStill a bit sore but two baths a day are helping (not very MSE!)
I thought I would pop on and post my things you may not know/expect about hospital as there are a few things that caught me out, I hope it's useful to some:
1. Take way more maternity pads than recommended - I took two packs of 10 but because my waters went 56 hours before I gave birth I used them then as well, so went through loads. They do have them in hospital but in mine they didn't have sticky bits on them so weren't brilliant.
2. Same with knickers and nighties - you don't know how long you'll be there so make sure you have more than enough.
3. Check the weights on the newborn clothes you've packed - it's an idea to have a couple in different weight ranges as Sam didn't fit into anything newborn apart from the stuff from Next, the Tesco range was too big so he needed Early Baby.
4. All the hospital bag lists I've read say to pack your eye mask and earplugs in the post-birth bag - pack them in the labour bag in case you're in a ward before the birth for any reason, I was on the postnatal ward before having Sam and was kept awake by other people's babies.
5. Be prepared for it to take ages for anything to get done. Our discharge was delayed by a whole day because the paedeatrician didn't have time to come and do his blood test.
6. Take flip flops for the showers.
7. You should get fed 3 meals a day if you're kept in, breakfast is brought to you and can take a while to get around the wards so take a few extra cereal bars in case you're awake early and hungry. Lunch and dinner was a queue-with-a-tray process - the food was pretty stodgy which was good cause I was starving most of the time after he was born, but you don't really get any vitamins from it so get your OH to bring you fresh fruit and juice - and prune juice at that if you want to keep things moving, especially if you've had stitches, you'll lose all control of your pelvic floor for a while so it's hard to push poos out!
8. Lucozade glucose tablets are excellent if you have an epidural as you won't be allowed any food - they'll keep your energy up.
I think that's everything I wanted to say, I hope it's helpful xMy debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |
