Teenie, have you called them yet? :)

:o erm no LOL! Went shopping to Matalan instead. They have a half price sale on so got a pair of PJ's for £3.50, a button nightie for b/feeding for £5 and 2 tops one at £6 and one at £4.50 which are great for expanding bump! Very very chuffed it is the real maternity things I have bought (oh and a bag for £4 essential ;):D).

I am feeling better and have had some toast and not been sick again so i think I should be ok.

Good luck Ejecoms, hope bubs decided to make an appearance soon now that the festiviites are over.

    Morning all!

Lwcus - when my baby's head engaged, I noticed my bladder got even smaller! But no back pain. You're meant to start waddling as well but I don't think that's happened yet- at least no one has pointed it out! I think lower back pain is very common in later pregnancy.

Well, Christmas day was uneventful for me! My OH is now on paternity leave so we got up to some serious baby eviction last night IYSWIM! No effect so far though. Planning a curry and cinema tonight. Will update you if any news. In the meantime, I have stacks of yesterday's washing up to do.

Good luck hun, hope things get moving soon!

So we looked around homebase and went to ILs for a bit :)
  • Hi all...

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas!? Well I'm at work today...I can honestly say I had the shock of my life when I came in to be told that one of my work colleagues had her baby on Christmas Day. He is 12 weeks early! Nobody knew how either mother or baby were doing so I left her an answer phone message just to let her know that they were in my thoughts & I hoped that they were both ok. About an hour later she called me to say that although he is tiny he is doing well :T It's still very early days but apparently he weighs around 980 grams which isn't to bad for how early he is & that he is being well looked after in special care. Mummy is doing well too...I think she is more shocked than anything. I really can't believe it! Keeping everything crossed for them both.
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

  • I know it's all a bit crazy really. I really hope everything works out for them as he is so very wanted...Up to now she has 4 daughters & this was the last try for a boy from what she had said :)

Funny thing is that's now three of us at work with Christmas Day babies...Lol! Their not rare here :)

  • for anyone using facebook i've been looking through various pregnany apps recently (used mypregnancy last time) and found this one..... tis really great - and even tells you (which is veryyyy strange) how many times approx your baby's heart has beaten since it was conceived.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Oooh, a bit of excitement here - I've lost my mucus plug! My husband found it while changing the bed sheets! Had to search on google images to see what they look like but he is sure now that is what it was (he didn't tell me about it until the sheets were in the wash so I didn't see it which I'm a bit disappointed about!).
