I've had a fantastic day too, I really wasn't looking forward to it but it has been great. I didn't think I ate that much but so stuffed!
Very sleepy but very happy bunny
Enjoy the rest of your evening xxxxx"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Congrats KT and Poppy!!
Happy Christmas everyone! Hope you've had a fab day!
I've had lower back ache last 2 days. Yes, been overdoing it slightly. I'm getting Braxon Hicks since 25 weeks but i'm not getting them stronger or more regular than usual so i'm sure its not early labour. I'm 34 + 4, is this what it feels like when baby's head engages?0 -
Happy Christmas everyone! Hope you all had a good day! I had a lovely day, ate too much but still hungry so going to tuck into some anti pasti :rotfl:
We ordered our push chair yesterday from Mamas and Papas - yay :T0 -
Morning ladies
Hope everyone has recovered. I am totally exhausted today so not planning on doing much.
A quick question, I was up at 2am this morning throwing up my lovely Xmas dinner and then I started bringing up quite a lot of blood. I was a wee bit freaked at how much was actually coming out but it would often happen with DD, just not as much. I googled (naughty me I now) to see why it happened but all I can find is "you should see doc immediately". Surely I don't need to see anyone? I haven't been sick since and I have had a wee drop breakfast (poor DH made a HUGE fry up _pale_).
I don't feel sick I just have that really horrible lump like feeling in my throat where obviously my oesophegas (spelling sorry) has been irritated.
What to you think?"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -

teenie do as fanta says.Just popping in in a spare moment...
Our bump became a baby last night at 10:58- a little girl called Lucy (was convinced that I was having a boy!), weighing 7lb 7oz. The induction was slow, but labour and birth were incredible, really really beautiful even though I was in hospital, just unbelievably serene and I was in control. Will post birth story later.just a quick update, Isobel Alice was born this morning at 2:56am, weighing a respectable 9lbs 1oz....birth story later. Thanks to all the lovely ladies on here for the support and insiration x

Congratulations both!
Tried to watch OBEM Christmas Eve, but blubbed so hard, despite the fact that the female presenter was ssoooo thick and patronising.
My goodness all the babies except the 23 week one were enormous! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Good morning ladies, hope we all had a lovely Christmas day! I had a great day, very relaxing, first with just my OH - and the last! We didn't have a roast dinner, just antipasti for lunch and a chestnut risotto for dinner, will make the roast today.
Congrats to KT and Poppy, what a lovely start to Christmas for you!
I think I had a water dribble this morning, it was slightly opaque like (TMI) when you get up after DTD and get a dribble down your leg...nothing since though so not going to worry unduly. There's a midwife drop in session on Wednesday morning at my clinic so I might pop in and mention the dribble and the 4 CM globs I've had. Getting quite funny BH's now as well, the right side of my bump tightens up and bump goes a funny wonky shape!

Congrats to KT and Poppy
Teenie I agree with the other girlies, call the out of hours Drs...it could be as you say nothing to worry about but I would do it to be on the safe side
Am still feeling really huge this morning having eaten what seemed likes all day yesterday and have to do it all again today at the in-laws :eek:......still haven't found a dessertlol....think it will be a baileys cheesecake and a victoria spinge as there are 16 of us to feed, lol....still have some inside out trifle left from yesterday so will take it down as a standby as well
Slept for 12 hours last night which is a first in a long time (was up- once but that doesn't count me thinks lol)The pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
Hopefully Babies r us are open today. We got a £200 gift card
Teenie, have you called them yet?0 -
Morning all!
Lwcus - when my baby's head engaged, I noticed my bladder got even smaller! But no back pain. You're meant to start waddling as well but I don't think that's happened yet- at least no one has pointed it out! I think lower back pain is very common in later pregnancy.
Well, Christmas day was uneventful for me! My OH is now on paternity leave so we got up to some serious baby eviction last night IYSWIM! No effect so far though. Planning a curry and cinema tonight. Will update you if any news. In the meantime, I have stacks of yesterday's washing up to do.0
