    Good morning everyone!:j
I feel like delurking this morning although I haven'tmuch to contribute to the thread.:o

It's minus 15 here and I have been having itchy nipples lately. Not related, I don't think but both mean I don't want to get out of bed or the house today :rotfl:
Hope everyone is doing well this morning.

  • Morning girls! though I would post a quick hello before I go to work, never seem to have a minute just now Finish work on 23rd so hopefully will retur with a vengance :rotfl:

Congrats to all who have delivered their beautiful babies! Think it may just be starting to sink in that I am starting all over again - and I am going to have one myself soon :o:o

Do worry how I will cope!!! 31 + 4 for me and I am fairly sure baby will be here earlier than due date! how did that happen??

Next growth scan on the 20th which will fly in! Soooo tired today too - only good thing is that although we have snow here - we have very little in comparison to everyone else - very rare!!!!

Happy day vibes to one and all!!! Catch up again soon. x

Apparently i dont crave Orange Juice anymore. Im sick whenever i drink it.

Also, Orange Juice sick melts snow incase anyone wondered :rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl: Sorry, shouldn't laugh
If it makes you feel any better, all of my craving so far have ended the same way - strawberries, apple juice, orange juice, apples (peeled), porridge, fizzy water, egg butties etc etc etc

Best wishes to your daughter cherrydee. I hope it all goes well.

Well, been awake since about 2am, apart from an hour at 5-6. DH had a MASSIVE fidget and woke me up. I then couldn't get back to sleep as I've finally succumbed to the stinking cold that everyone at work and DH have had. Now tucked on the sofa supping hot lemon. Apparently it's -7 out there, and -11 with wind chill. Brrrrrr Certainly not even attempting the work commute today. DH is happy as he thinks I usually overdo things.

Am feeling a bit down at the mo. Last week a close friend from back home went for her 12 week scan but baby had died a month ago. Then yesterday I got a call from the OH of another close friend saying that she was in hospital having suffered a lot of bleeding and lost their baby. I've sent flowers, but I know there's not a lot I can do right now. I've also said that I'll perfectly understand if they decide to keep their distance from me for a bit. I know that my huge belly will be a reminder to them of what they've lost. I almost feel guilty about having my baby right now, if you see what I mean.

Sorry, hope I haven't brought you all down. I just needed to offload.

Stay warm, and avoid the snow everyone.
If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:

I also had my baby monitor delivered. I got the BT 150 as it is a which best buy and includes a thermometer, night light and lullabys. I had a look on eBay at this too and they did have some cheap reconditioned ones, but instead decided to double up my tescos reward vouchers so it didn't cost me any more.

This is the one we've got as well - we only got hold of it yesterday as my parents bought it as a present and they're here for the weekend now, amazingly completely on time considering the two train journeys they needed to get here!

32 weeks today - the next 8-10 weeks are going to draaaaaaag, especially once my placenta scan has been and gone :( I'm SO ready to start my maternity leave now, have realised this after having most of this week off. I wonder how easy it would be to get signed off for a fortnight or so? Problem is, I really like a few of my colleagues and the guy I have to train and I feel bad that they may not get the benefit of my knowledge before I leave. The guy I'm training isn't actually back until Thursday so maybe I could stay off until then - my hip is still really sore so it's probably not the best idea me going out anyway in this snow. Hmm.

That's so sad :( I would feel exactly the same way although you know you shouldn't. They know you're there for them if they need you xx

Awww ((hugs)) hungrymummy. I know what you mean.

I'm naked! No not really. But I feel like it. I left my phone at home :( I hope I don't break down on the way home tonight. That would be sods law.

I went to get petrol and they seem to be running low :s Had to settle for the expensive excellium stuff as all the pumps were empty :( Not very MSE. But maybe it gets you more miles?

Christmas party tonight. Still not in the mood. I'm not a drinker normally, but at things like this I like to let my hair down. It's not going to be fun watching everyone else get p*ssed. It was horrible at the hen do I went to. But I hope it'll be OK because I do know everyone really well given I've worked with them for years so I won't be shy at least.

  • Mornin all!
I have read back and now cannot for the life of me remember what I was going to post and I only clicked one multiquote lol. Realised today that I have got so much to do! So have cleaned the house, made some chocolate ricecrispie cakes (yum) but when DD goes for a nap I have to get on with weddingy stuff lol only 19 days to go!! Eek!
Just wondering if any of you ladies know where you can get plus size maternity clothes... as in over a size 20. I looked online where get clothes from simply be/fashion world...but was very dissapointed at their limited range and i dont want to spend silly amounts of money on things either!!!

I have so far only found simplybe for plus size maternity clothes. However This time I have bought a couple of pairs of these and have found them to be really comfortable and they are alot cheaper than matenity trousers. I also recently bought one of these shirts but in purple and find it fits well with bump. I hope that helps some.
    DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

I have my works Christmas do tonight as well Giz and tbh I’m not feeling at all up for it either. We are supposed to be going for a three course meal which I know I probably won’t be able to eat because it seems that my appetite has dwindled quite a lot again at the moment.

Not sure I’m going to bother going. We’ve paid a £5 deposit and we have another £15 to pay tonight – am thinking I’d rather put that £15 into the savings kitty for when I’m on maternity leave than waste it on food I probably won’t actually feel like eating. It would mean losing my £5 deposit but am not really bothered about that – the prospect of making an unnecessary journey in the car doesn’t help either.

I would do the same - I'm always of the opinion that it would be better to save the unnecessary expense and lose the initial cost.

It was my church house group christmas meal last night but we ended up cancelling... Lost a fiver deposit too... (Although I gave a tenner and she didn't have any change so I said to knock the other fiver off the final bill, wonder if I'll ever see that again?!)

Tickle, I had a couple of pairs of trousers like that too and they were really comfy... Unfortunately, 1 pair got a hole in and I got paint all over the other pair...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
