typical isn't it?? :rolleyes:0 -
wow, finally got to the end. well done on your diary and the debt busting success.
so glad the guitar hero turned up.
some ideas:
instead of buying k jars of food how about buying or getting a hand blender off freecycle and blitzing some extra of the meals you make the rest of you. you could even freeze in a big batch in baby portions for ease.
well done on getting ste to take lunch to work - how about making extra so you can also have a lunch ready for you and ash just needing heated up.
invest in a slow cooker or get one off freecycle, then you can pop your sausage casserole etc in there - make bulk and freeze for nights when you are knackered.
how much does ste still have for lunch and what does he spend it on? you could suggest whatever he saves can go on / towards a game rather than coming from the budget.
my hubby is a 360 nut aswell but has gradually come round to my way of thinking that he can only play one game at a time and only has about 6 games total. he always gets the latest games he wants by trading in or selling his games on ebay.
dolmio etc are often on bogof or £2 for 2 try and stock up if you can't face making the sauces from scratch. married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090 -

We actually blend stuff already.Kind use a mix of packet/jars/hand blended home meals. She has packet stuff for breakfast and then depending on how lazy/unprepared I am she'll either have home cooked meals or jars. lol

Hey Sar,
We're home safe with much lighter pockets...
We lost our passports and after a frantic search, they were located at my Mom's place 2.5 hours away when we should have been at the airport boarding!!! AH! It cost us $270 to have them sent down in a taxi-oh my god! Not very DFW huh?
Im still very jetlagged but just wanted to drop you a line...
Hope you're ok-strange about that guitar hero eh?

The cheapest we could find was £179.99 in argos with £4.95 delivery and it's coming weds.
So we just need to find some way of getting rid of our old one... hmmm..

Good luck with the auctions and I hope you enjoy your new sofa when it arrives. You are both doing so well.0

try putting your old sofa on ebay for local pickup starting at 99p. just be honest about it's condition- you never know it might go for more. or freecycle it. either way is cheaper than paying the council to collect. married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090
