And IA, congrats on the money situation this month - you really are storming ahead, its great. I think you have the car loan after these, is that right? But I wonder if you're starting to think about what life will be like after paying off your debts - I'm just wishing it closer for you, I suppose. Have a good day - get practising on that Abba melody too!

..and so begins Ste's first weekend off. We went out last night with his work mates and including a taxi home only spent about £26 (we missed the bus lol) as everyone was buying us drinks. Had a great night and are going out again tonight to a Me first and the gimmes gimmes gig in birmingham.. can't wait
Ash is doing so well in her bed now although last night we came back to find her asleep on the floor :rotfl: I then put her back in bed only to check on her 20 mins later to find her like this...

Ur hair looks cool! And bless Ash, I love her sleeping position, may not be the most comfortable, but she looks very contented!

Long time no speak
Went out to a gig in Birmingham last night to see Me first and the Gimme Gimmes.. they were really good and we had a great night.
Today we went to Telford as Ste got £50 giftcard for HMV as a leaving present. With it he got a game and got Ash a dora the explorer DVD. He also traded in to be able to get another game from gamestation so he came away with 2 games! What did I get? JACK! lol. I'm not fussed though as it was his giftcard anyway.
Ste's so excited about starting his new job tomorrow... he can't wait! Bless him.. will let you know how he gets on tomorrow.
It's been nice to have a 'weekend off' from being totally strict with money. We went out 2 nights on the trot and went shopping today and it's been nice having Ste around for the weekend so we've been able to do stuff together. Could get used to this.
Moneywise we have £200 in savings and now £29 til weds as we've used the extra wages to get some savings going, put petrol in the car and enjoy our weekend. It's been refreshing to say the least plus we have a good £200 buffer for Ste's next wages.
All in all a good weekend.
Plus our clothes lot finishes on ebay in an hour.... ooooooh!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

That's a shame, we also found that the smaller sizes didn't sell well really (we got rid of Ryan's baby stuff when we found out we were having a girl) - I think people tend to want to buy new for their newborn, and then a few months down the line when they realise it's a waste of money, THEN they buy on eBay, but they tend to need a slightly bigger size by then.
Well, it's £2.76 that you didn't have before, and for something you wont need again (well, for at least a little while anyway lol!), so it's better than nothing I suppose."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
