I don't think I have seen that bit .....
Me neither... then again my nearest LIDL is a good 10 miles away so I'd drive.... my tesco is 8 miles away.. surely it'd be more DFW to go to tesco :D

Gone on to play devil's advocate somewhere else? Shop at Lidl?

Well to be fair we don't have a Lidl .... but we do have an Aldi. I went there .... once .... pushing a pram with 2 kids walking as well, and found out they had no baskets. Asked the shop assistant who said 'use a trolley', pointed at the pram and then walked out. Have never been back since. It's just not convenient. I don't drive .... yet.

But you have to, it's in the DFW rule book - 'Thou shalt bypass yonder Tescos and purchase all goods at Lidl, Aldi or Netto, even if thou hast to walk 40 miles to get there' :D
All this mention of Lidl, and I just discovered that my nearest one is 5 mins drive from my Mums :D I didn't think we even had one near us! Yay!:j Must go for a nosey around

Inside is bigger than the outside??? How can the inside of something be bigger than the outside.. surely you'd have to reverse it or have some kind of universe in a box kind of thing and then the universe in a box would have to be in a box so that you were going into the universe from something small and....

    oh wait it's not real...

You remind me of me a bit, but sensible much sooner! I got married at 19 ( a few weeks before you were born  ) and am still there with my Steve. My DD is 20 and at uni now and DS is 14. Looking forward to my belated gap year in 2011! Good luck and be happy x

    hi IA, hi all

Good grief, what a turn to the thread. I pressed the "first new post" button, and was doing exactly the mini bouncer thing in my head thats described, and then when I read on found it turned into a comedy show about Dr Who and Lidl! With a sweet last post by wyebird. Okay, IA, so you don't *need* defenders or bouncers, but you've got 'em! Enjoy and be proud!

Things I've learnt since taking the sides of Ashli's cot
    • Never leave a pot of sudocrem in her room
    • Never leave a pack of wipes within reach
    • She will like to sleep with random objects such as buckets and nappies.
    • NEVER leave the stairgates open
    • and if you do leave the stairgate open FLUSH THE TOILET if you have a wee in the middle of the night ! because...
    • SHE CAN OPEN DOORS
    • We will have to buy a bigger bed for when she won't go to sleep in her own bed
    • Expect to be poked in the eye at 3am if she does come into bed with you
    • You will be woken up many times a night to the chorus of 'mummy.... daddy.....dhere dar dchoo? (Where are you) coming from her bedroom door
    • If you like clean carpets and walls don't leave chalk in her room!

IA, glad we could be of service, we must always look after our friends ;)
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Hahaha, well, they say you learn by your mistakes IA - maybe she just fancied redecorating her bedroom? :D
