immoral_angeluk wrote:Oooooh this weekend is the weekend... all our ebay auctions are finishing!! It's so exciting! So far alone we've got £47 in paypal plus another £55.49 for things that have sold and awaiting payment (or payment to clear) and at last check our other 45 () auctions were totalling £22.74 and they're all finishing tomorrow and sunday. That's £125 there alone and they've not even finished yet and hopefully we may make a bit extra on postage! (Not that I overcharge, don't get me wrong!)
I LOVE EBAY!Good luck with the auctions this weekend - hope you have a few bidding wars

immoral_angeluk wrote:Ooooh forgot to mention that my information pack about childminding came today... well.. I say information pack. The 'pack' consisted of a leaflet and some printed letters about the data protection act and dates of 'childminding pre-registration briefing sessions'. lmao. Going to send it off tomorrow to go to a briefing on the 27th march which is the nearest one to me. Hopefully will get more answers there!
If you need some additional qualifications or set up money (equipment) for your own kiddy minding business, given your age, two kids, low income it is very likely you'd be eligible for some help.

All our ebay auctions are now finished and currently in our paypal account is £180! That's with 11 people still to pay(including a £20 sale!) and our ebay fees paid!!! WOOHOO! Reckon postage for everything will be around £40 so we should come away with around £180 pure profit. What a result! Just for stuff that's been lying around...
That's a nice fat chunk of dorothy perkins paid off with hardly any effort at all.
Checking out the figures that means that at the end of March we can pay off Dorothy Perkins AND have around £280 left over to roll over to April to go towards Barclaycard so it's definately looking like we'll have everything except Ste's citi paid off by May when my maternity pay ends!!!
Woooooooooooooo! Thank you Ebay!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

AAAAAALL BYYYYYYY MYYYYYYYYYYSELF, ANYMORE, WOOOOAAAH..
*ahem* sorry got carried away there.
Steve's back at work today. I've been dreaded this day from the very start but *so far* things are running fairly smoothly. Saying that I've not tried to go for a wee yet... how the hell am I going to do that?? lol!
On the plus side we're all fed and watered, the bottles have been sterlised and the water boiled.. we're all dressed and have brushed teeth (Well apart from K.. lol) and haven't gone insane yet. Think I'm going to be relying heavily on cbeebies for the foreseeable future but as long as it helps us stay sane I don't care! lol!
I need to go down the post office and post tonnes of Ebay stuff but I'll see how the day pans out and how brave I'm feeling first. lol. Why oh why didn't we buy a double buggy? Argh! Will have to keep an eye out on freecycle and ebay..
Speaking of ebay I've just totalled everything up and with ebay fees paid it comes to £239 inc postage. So based on about £40 to post everything we'll have around £200!!! Woohoo!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Argh, site playing up...
Anyhoo,
Why not out a 'Wanted' on Freecycle for a double buggy? I got rid of one not long ago on there-sorry! I wish I'd know and you could have had it...
I really found it so much easier to get out with the kids instead of staying in, still do for that matter! What about local playgroups etc?
