Childbirth was a breeze for me too, I was unconscious, just woke up with my stomach stapled together.

Oh I was awake, but I've had worse toothache than that

no, not got mouse-just figured out that I am a sloppy typer, lol
    Keep hitting buttons I shouldn't...

Glad you're doing well Snaggles, getting to grips with being a milk machine again?I am finding things to love about this house, it is much quieter, better facing garden, quieter street, less rooms to keep clean lol

As far as stitches are concered, I only had 4 with Freya and 1 with Joe, despite him weighing over 10lbs. but as most of you now know I don't go out in strong wind...

old lag speaking here - my two (now 20 and 16) were FINALLY allowed to have baby rice by the HV at 16 weeks....... and they had just raised the age from 8 weeks, so all us mums were bemoaning that - can you imagine. I cannot think how you poor girls are managing with those growing hungry babies at night times..... if you have to wait till 6 months to give them something other than breast milk or tiny baby formula

My two are still very fit, slim and active, so if its child obesity the HV's are rallying against then there are causes other than a little bit of food at 4 months.

My eldest is 14 and it was 3 months when she was a baby!!

Youngest is 4 and i had a HUGE row with an out-reach nurse about the 4 month change - in fact I rang the hospital and told them never to send her again :o

She tried to tell me that weaning at 3 months had a higher incidence of bowel cancer in the 50's than at 4 months !!!!!!!!!!!!

They be wanting them at nursery next

    Sorry - Rant over ;)

I'm so glad you are liking the new house Bunny, it's great having less rooms to keep clean isn't it. We moved from a 4 bedroom flat to a 2 bedroom house when we had Ryan, and it was such a relief. We didn't even use 3 of the bedrooms at the flat, but you still have to clean them occasionally!

You know that Girls Aloud song that goes 'I'm just a love machine'? I sing that to Natasha but change the words to 'I'm just a milk machine'.....does that tell you how often I am feeding her?! :D

I'm thinking of setting up my own dairy as my next money spinning venture. :)

Morning all. K went to bed at 8 last night. She slept soundly til 12ish when Ste begrudgingly got up to give her a bottle. She then woke up at 2 because she'd managed to work her way up to the top of the cot and left her covers behind. Monkey... Back to the sleeping bag tonight now it's been washed! She slept then til about 4.50 and I got up to give her a bottle. She then woke up at 6.30 because she'd pooed..... JOY.
Baby rice wise she's doing well and really likes it! She just need to work on the keeping it in her mouth bit! She had some this morning before her breakfast bottle and polished that lot off too after many spit-scoop-feed cycles lol. I'm going to carry on offering her some before each bottle and see how she gets on. Once she gets the hang of keeping the majority in her mouth I puree up a carrot and see how she gets on with that.

Oooh it's all good fun this baby lark isn't it?

Money news out budgets are looking a bit unhealthy but payday is a week thursday so it's not toooo drastic. This we've got about £70 left in the bank and of that it's broken down into £7 worth of bills, £8.20 for a fire blanket on ebay, £20 budget for the wedding on sat, Ste's budget is about £24, £3 petrol budget and £2 food budget. lmao. Think we've got about £19 left over.
the paypal money cleared today too and I transferred all but £8.20 (for the fire banket) over to the debt account meaning when everything's clear we'll have £534.66 :T
Ste's got his job interview tomorrow morning at 9.30. It's not his day off but he was just honest with his boss who's letting him go if he makes the time up this week. The job is basically being the man behind the computer helpline for tesco fuel cards. If I remember right it's 9-5.30 monday to thurs and 9-4 on fridays and starts at 14k a year which is more than Ste got last yr with overtime and would mean a take home of £947.55 a month. :D PLUS he'd get his weekends off which would be great. :) Good luck Ste!

Had my 'support childminder' call up this morning. What a miserable cow who seemingly took great pleasure in telling me there's no work around our area and that I should call ofsted and defer the inspection because 'I'm not ready'
    !!!!!!? Miserable bint.
