Had my 'support childminder' call up this morning. What a miserable cow who seemingly took great pleasure in telling me there's no work around our area and that I should call ofsted and defer the inspection because 'I'm not ready'
    !!!!!!? Miserable bint.

Sorry IA - I'm laughing at your attitude to her - Keep it that way and saty positive, maybe its not the area where there is no work but just her house, for obvious reasons ;)

Doesnt sound like she will be earning any gold stars on the support-o-meter :p

I would say thats a certainty once you have your *papers*

I can see the parents weighing it up now:
~young, hip, fun childminder = happy kids
~miserable bint childminder = suicidal 2 year olds

Grrrrrr @ my doctor.. he's STILL not done my health declaration form for Ofsted!! Jesus if I'm going to be paying them £16 for filling out a form you'd think he'd actually be bothered to do the flippin' thing. *sigh*

I definitely think old bint CM is worried you nick her wee charges. Anyway it sounds like she is up herself thinking SHE is the Ofsted person and able to say if you are ready or not. She sounds like a right cow and I wouldn't want my DS leaving with her and having never met you I know that I have read nothing here to make me question leaving him in your hands. PND or no PND. Don't let her get to you, is there any chance you can change your support CM or can you just ignore her? Not sure about these things if you actually have to have dealings with her or not or is she just there if you need someone?

And well done on the debt account. That is looking really healthy for the end of the month. I hope you enjoy yourselves at the wedding this weekend. And a massive GOOD LUCK to Ste, I really hope he gets this job. Not only more money but no weekends would be fab. Would he have to travel any farther to work? Keeping everything crossed for him and sending lots of positive "get new job" vibes his way.
