    Hi IA,

I just wanted to say that I have been reading your post for ages now, and in no way are you lazy!!! Life is not easy with one child, let alone 2 under the age of 3.
Such a shame im a Londoner, I would of loved to have met up for a coffee, you have given so much inspiration to me with regards to my own debt, and I know possibly a lot of other people on MSE.
Im sorry, there isn’t really much I can say to make you feel any better, I wish I could. Just take each day at a time.

    Loads of hugs,

    Angie

You're doing sooo well and seem to have a huge amount on your plate so it's no wonder you have the odd down day. Chin up - it will get better! One of my tricks when I'm a bit down is to just stare at a wall for it bit. It makes me sound totally crackers but you know where you are with a wall... yes?

I feel paranoid about going out too, I really empathise with you. I know just how it feels to shut yourself indoors, but you have to try to fight it. This thing can become over powering, sometimes I think people laugh about the things I write here, that they see my name and think, shut up you stupid cow, what do you know? But it's all in my head, in those flippin chemicals which make it really hard to remember how to be us.

Sometimes I look back and think about how I used to be, out every five minutes, busy, working every hour, just with a full life. But, I started staying in more and more, to the point where I have now lost confidence in myself. The pills are helping though.

I do really and honestly think that this is all a part of your PND. There is no rational reason on this earth why anyone would be talking about you or judging you. Most likely they will be wondering how they can become your friend, you are a bright, warm, caring person, who can have a conversation on every level.

Also remember that lots of the other mums will feel like you do too. I remember going to mums and tots feeling really lonely, not knowing how to speak to everyone.. they'd all been going for such a long time and knew each other. But within a week I had made some friends and one of them became a really close lifelong friend.

I echo what the others have said about your pills. I dont know what you're on, I'm on prozac, they do help (so far, I've only been on them a month). But, I mght need to get a stronger dose after a while, when my 'chemicals' get used to the pills being there. Speak to your doc and either change your pills or increase the dose a bit.

You are a star IA, so many people here care about you, would so many people feel that way if you weren't a fantastic person? Trust us to make these sorts of judgements for you, try to listen to what ste, your MIL and all of your friends here say and not the little demons in your head.

    Hi IA,

Sorry to hear you're having a down day - but please phone the doctors again & if necessary cry down the phone at them until they give you an appointment.

You're a wonderful, inspirational person, a marvellous mum and a budgetting whizz! All the other mums at p&t groups will be in awe of you!

I told Ste about how I'm feeling about going out. He reckons I'm starting to get agoraphobic but I'm not scared of going outside I'm just paranoid of people judging me and talking/thinking about me in a bad way.

Maybe I'm just lazy and trying to find something to blame it on..

Bzzt! Wrong. Your depression is getting worse. You MUST see your doctor.

    So the options are:
    1. You can go and see your doctor
    2. Ste can spank you until you see your doctor. I see him raising no objections...
    3. We'll sent BunnyITL around to earn her DFW Female Perv stripes and she'll spank you until you see your doctor.

    Does Madam have a preference?
