Last night wasn't too bad. K went down around 7.30 after having a bottle and some calpol. We were debating whether to wake her up to feed her when we went to bed but we ended up leaving her to sleep. She woke at 1.30 but Ste got up with her without so much as a fuss but of course I was wide awake but at least I got to rest instead of getting up with her. She then had a bottle at 7.30 but then went back to sleep til 10 so I got a bit of a lie in before I had to get up to Ash who woke up about 9. I'm now enjoying a nice cup of tea and about to write a plan of action for the day. Have already moved the tc over to the debt account so we're back on the barclaycard tracks after yesterdays mishaps.... but after k's had her next bottle I'm going to take a look at the money and see where we're at. I've drummed it into my head that it really doesn't matter if barclaycard isn't paid off this month as we'll still be able to pay a lump towards but it'll be more clear when I've checked the money.
Going to take today one step at a time and not put to much pressure on myself.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Don't worry I won't. Just want to be clear in my head where we stand and then I might take a walk down the market or something.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Right... let's have a look.
£201.30 in main bank
£116.19 in debt account (When cleared.)
Bills still to go out £163.85
Bills to go out before my mat pay goes in.... £85.50...
which leaves us with £115.80 til the 10th.
There's petrol in the car.. we have all the food except for veg in... but Ste needs to pay the deposits on the stag do so £33 (I think) which means that til the 10th we have £82.80.......
Over the whole month we're looking at..
£201.30 + £432 = £633.30......
- £163.85 bills
- £102.95 food budget
- £40 petrol budget
- £33 deposits for stag do
- £60 stag/hen dos
- £20 wedding present
- £30 car tax/mot
- £113.02 for barclaycard
- £2.57 sarah (lol)
- £114.42 Ste
= -46.51....... bollox............... let me check that again yep... -£46.51
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....... right.....

Well one things for certain we won't be paying off barclaycard this month as we're not going to be able to save that £113.02!

Hi IA,
Dare I say it but what about cutting Ste's pocket money down just a bit....I really think you should have a little bit more for yourself and the girl's.
And don't worry if you can't pay off barclaycard this month in the big scale of thing's it really doesn't matter!! Yes I know you wanted too but if you pay some of it off then that's better than Nowt!!DEBT FREE 23/FEB/07 TWO YEAR's!! £2 £1020.00 Banked New total £268+ and counting SAVINGS 3000.00- ISA £30. :j0 -
Ok so you can't pay it off by the end of May. Did you say recently your tax credits have gone up to around £113 a week and they are paid on a wed. If so could it be paid by the following Wed (6th June)?0

Why not aim for something else?
You could aim to get the citi-card below £1000 (easy - £398.11)
You could aim to get the citi-card below the value of the Barclaycard ( slightly tougher - £573.72)
You could aim to get the Barclaycard to £500 and the citi-card to £1000 (£100 below your current aim @ £722..50)0
