Yes, you've reminded me that I need a new calculator
Seriously, I manage the money in our house. My husband shows no interest in it whatsoever and when I try to interest him or ask him to make decisions, he accuses me of being obsessed with money. I started talking about the debt this evening and how I would like to pay it off by the end of the year and it was as if I hadnt spoken. We had a period when he looked after the money (or not) because he said that I was not doing it very well. This period lasted for about 3 weeks by which time none of the bills had been paid, in fact credit card bills and bank statements lay in a pile unopened and he had no idea of how much money was in the bank. If I said anything, I was nagging. In the end he threw the envelopes at me and shouted 'you do it then.' and so I have, ever since. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
