Thing is I'd spend the £80 on crap, and then spend all afternoon crying and feeling guilty about it! lol!

£80 off the Citi at 27.9% would deprive Citi card share holders of £25 profit over the next year.... :p buy the cr&p feed those fluffy little share holders.... look at their sad big puppy dog eyes.... go on you know you want too....b :D

Fantastic news!! Put the extra £80 towards the debt and go and spend the £5.99 on yourself! (sorry, that was very naughty lol)
No I agree with you. Spend the £5.99 on some more clothes from that wonderful stall you have found and put the rest towards your debt..

Right. Worked the money out and it looks good. :D (For a change lol)

Discounting the extra £85.99 we have £423.76 left til the end of the month.

    Soooo..
    £423.76
    -£79.94 bills
-£60 for driving lessons and test hire of the car (A week today! eek!)
    -£93.80 food budget
-£26 taxi's to cradle gig and back
-£30 spending money while at cradle gig

= £134.02 left / 18 days (As Ste has enough for today and tomorrow) = £7.44 a day

Meaning that I'm going to add the £85.99 to the debt fund which will then look like this..

    £200.49
+£85.99 (which I've just transferred over to debt account should clear in a couple days..)

    =£286.48 by 12th
    +£65.65 tc tomorrow = £352.10
    +£64.44 tc on 18th = £416.54
    + £120.80 cb on 24th = £537.34
    + £64.44 tc on 25th = £601.78 :T

So we'll be able to pay off dotty p's (which will be around £461, I've just called to find out) on the 24th AND have £140 left over towards barclaycard! Woohooo! Also means we're not under massive pressure to save as much as possible as it'll be paid off plus more so anything we do manage to save will be a bonus. Roll on the 24th April when we can say a big !!!! you to dotty p's!

Sounds really good IA. Can I just ask a couple of things. I'm sure my increase in child benefit says it starts from 9th April (or similar) so I'm not expecting the full increase amount next time it's due in. Have you taken that into account. When does your maternity pay run out? Have you got a pay day next month and that's it, or one in June too?

Our cb increase is the same but our CB was paid the week before the increase so am expecting it to be around that mark if not a little bit under. Either way it's only a few quid difference as our last one was £116.60 and our new one will be £120.80.
As for when my pay runs out I have no idea. My maternity leave ends on the 7th May but because of the stupid way they're paying me I know i wouldn't have had the full 26 weeks worth of maternity pay by then. Without seeing my wage slips I couldn't tell you how many weeks worth I've had either although I know I'm 2 weeks behind as they didn't pay me for the first 2 weeks of my leave because of a technicality.

So your guess is as good as mine as to when it runs out!!
