Not wanting to put a dampner on things, but when you (like most of us here!) are so "to the penny" accurate, I would suggest that you MAKE SURE!! the extra money is yours and not an error on your bosses part.

It would be awful next month if you were deducted money due to some sort of overpayment.

(Its likely to be cos its a five week month perhaps rather than a problem though!)

I've called up payroll before about my maternity pay and apparently the SMP weeks run from a monday to a saturday so each month you could get something different depending on how many FULL WEEKS there are in the month. Ridiculous I know and all I ever get from them is 'it's not our fault yadda yadda government this that blah blah yadda'. Ah well. Either way I budget for a 4 week month and anything extra is a bonus. :)

Fantastic news!! Put the extra £80 towards the debt and go and spend the £5.99 on yourself! (sorry, that was very naughty lol)

10th April.. time to update the new me list...

    1. [STRIKE]Get a new hairstyle/colour[/STRIKE]
    2. Revamp my wardrobe
    3. Start wearing make up more often and making more of an effort
    4. Get out more even if it's only down the park with the girls.
    5. Do more things that I enjoy even if only for 1/2 an hr!
    6. Get on top of the housework and [STRIKE]set out a regular housework rota.[/STRIKE]
    7. Start eating properly.
    8. Start playing with Ashli more instead of having the tv on all day.
    9. Start a regular evening bedtime routine for k so Ste and I can spend more 'us' time together.

Have had my hair done :T and just need to get it cut at some point. To be honest I'm happier with it already even though I haven't had it cut so am not going to rush down the hairdressers! :D Have also started adding bits to my wardrobe but need to have a good goign through what I do have to get rid of bits that make me feel like crap.

Worked out a cleaning rota yesterday which looks like this..

Monday - Sweep and mop, clean bathroom, put out recycling/bin
Tuesday - Washing, hoover upstairs, tidy stairs/landing/hall.
Wednesday - Sort out clothes, clean kitchen (inc sweep and mop)
Thursday - Washing, clean our bedroom
Friday - Sort out Clothes, clean girls' bedroom
Saturday - Washing, clean living room, sweep and mop
Sunday - Sort out clothes, tidy store room, clean out fridge.

As and when needed - Hoover downstairs, dust, washing up/bottles, empty bins

Have already put a load of washing in today so off to a good start. :) You'll notice the lack of ironing in my list as I am allergic to ironing (lol) and if I'm honest I've got more important things to worry about that whether our clothes have a few creases in them.

Right off to go work out some stuff money wise... will update again in a bit.....

Don't blame you about the ironing - hubby does ours - I don't ask him to, he just likes it......weird.

Yes so does mine. He was daft enough to admit in our dating days that he enjoyed ironing, he found it therapeutic, it's been his job ever since.
