K did really well last night! We tried to give her a bottle at 11.30 (when she would've normally had a bottle) but she wouldn't take more than 1 1/2oz so I did her nappy and put her back to bed as it was obvious she wasn't going to wake up enough to drink her milk.
She slept til 7 this morning! She did wake up around 6 but went back to sleep so she would've gone from 9-7 if I hadn't tried to give her a bottle but she hardly woke up then anyway. So I'm going to claim a small victory on day one!! She's got her jabs today so not going to expect too much of her tonight. We'll see though!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Just a query - probably missed the logic but why are you targetting Barclaycard next (19.9%) as opposed to the Citi (27.9%)?0 -

Ye're doing them in balance order instead of interest because the initial plan was to get rid of as many as possible so that we cut down our monthly outgoings sooner as things were really tight. It also helps keep us motivated as we can see our progress rather than feeling like we're constantly trudging through mud and getting nowhere... does that make sense?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Kind of... and I guess if it means you carry on rather than lose heart it's worthwhile... Can't you psychologically split the Citi in too two balances?
Over a year paying off the £833 off the Citi first will probably save you £70 (or a trip to the safari park), I guess if it's too daunting so doesn't get paid it would be a false economy... Have you checked your ratings separately because most of the finance in your name seems to have gone (and you didn't have the DCA or the CCJs did you?) so it's possible at least your rating may be better for a lower rate transfer...
I know you've a lot on plate, just trying to reduce your debt and outwit the pesky interest goblins. Hope it's not too annoying.0 -

No it's not at all annoying I appreciate it! I know exactly what you mean about paying it off the citi what with the interest and all. My worry is that it's such a large amount we'd lose hope of it every being cleared and lose the motivation. In my head I see it as the 'biggie' (Well biggest except for the car loan... but we'll deal with that once all the unsecured stuff is gone!) and would rather clear everything else first and then just have that big on to deal with and be able to throw everything we can at it.
The motivational thing is especially relevant as we're in an uncertain place at the moment not knowing exactly what's going to happen with regards to my maternity pay and me leaving work and having to totally rely on tax credits. It will more than likely end up with us only being able to put 1/4 of what we are now towards debt.
In fact I'm going to call the tax credits now. Back in a min.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
