Hope the 'skipping' goes well. Admittedly it must be really cold clearing a garage in this weather!! Hope the 'bubble' works nicely.

Surprisingly managed to get back yesterday, collected our 'abandoned' suitcase. Can't believe how lucky we were, there were so many times in the last few days that 6 hours either way would have been horrific, e.g. 2 out of yesterdays 7 flights were cancelled, and the destination airport was borderline for closing due to snow by the time our flight took off!!!

Looking out over the frozen dutch canal this morning. City looks pretty too, but very cold and icey.

Keeping Motivated - a lots of people are reassessing things at the moment for various reasons. Similar situation here.

Well, the skip is certainly full....but the garage not yet empty - another skip will be ordered tomorrow and we will have another go at it on Sunday.

We have, however, got to that point where we have sorted, have piles to be taken to the in-laws for XOH to store, have a pile for me to sort, and a pile to take to the new house. It is infinitely better than it was this time yesterday. All the stuff has been brought down from the eaves too, so I am very pleased.

And all without any sort of hassle - no need for the bubble. That made a huge difference.

Am frozen through, so a hot bath and a curry will be on the cards tonight.

Hypno -we've all been on this site looking for help to deal with our debts. People like you who share their journey with the honesty you have show us all that A) it can be done it can be done at some speed C) sharing information and tips all helps and D) there is support there on hard days, a pat on the back for good daysand a cheering squad whenever.

Many of us are embarrassed when we come on here and often shy but you Hypno keep inspiring us and motivating us to new heights!

I *am* frozen.....clearing the garage is definitely one of those jobs for a summers day!!

But, it was a job well started - and it is no longer scary. But once again we did wonder why on earth there was so much absolute rubbish in there in the first place.

I will be much more ruthless in my new house!
