Love the protective bubble idea & am adopting it RIGHT NOW ( definitely having chocolate in mine & some fab shoes too
)
Good luck for today

That's the great thing about them - you create them with whatever you want! The only rules are that they are things YOU choose, not necessarily things that other people would assume for you!
Right, off to be productive for an hour or so - will be back for more coffee in a while (it is cold out in that garage, I will need such rewards frequently!).Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hope your day with the skip is productive and that your bubble serves its purpose. The bubble is quite simple to do - close your eyes and just relax a bit and imagine all negative crappy stuff leaving your body - it can be leaving on each outward breath, or leaving through your fingers and toes - etc, just do what works for you.
Now, imagine that you have a huge bubble surrounding you - no negativity is in it, because you have just got rid of all that. And it is made of a special membrane so that positive stuff from "outside" can penetrate the bubble, but any negative stuff, anger, etc from outside can't get in, it just bounces right back off the membrane.
So, if you are working with a "difficult" person, for example - create your bubble and you will only have your good stuff with you, and their crappy attitude or difficult traits won't affect you in the same way as before because they will bounce right back off the bubble.
These could take a couple of practices before you get to grips with them, but they are well worth doing in my humble opinion and see me through many a day!!!
And on a purely practical point of view the bubble will stop the dust getting up your nose.
I have tried the bubble and it works. I also try an alternative method to isolate other individual's negativity, courtesy of MG.
Picture a very large glass cloche. Now imagine Thunderbirds 2 (the big green one) leaving its base (in my case, one of the office cupboards), complete with music. Tum tiddy tum, tum tum tum tum tiddy tum tum tum....... It picks up the cloche and drops it over the negative person so their negativity is trapped within them. I have trained it to do this every time I have a meeting with this person and it really works.
(Do be careful if you have to scramble Thunderbirds 2 unexpectedly. Sometimes Virgil is a bit too rushed and doesn't get the height quite right. Then he clonks xxxx with the cloche and knocks him out. It still negates the negativity, although I do get strange looks when I start giggling for no apparent reason :rotfl:)A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Ooh, there's some fine ideas here: also, if you've got a favourite colour, imagine yourself dressed in it or if there's an article of clothing that has always bought you success, add that to the mix!
I like the idea of the bubble repelling dust, I'll have to use that when I empty the Dyson this afternoon!‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Oh my there is a huge amount of crap in there!
I have made a start - am bloomin cold though, so just defrosting for a few mins before heading out there again. XOH is due here shortly and hopefully he will just get on and chuck stuff - we have a builders skip, and if need be I will order another one for next weekend if it gets full too quickly. Believe me, there is enough stuff to go in there!
Am still surprised at how much stuff of my dad's is in there.....that all needs sorting over the next few days too. Another bubble required for that one, I think.
It will be worth it though - and I look forward to seeing some sort of space in there!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Sounds like you're making progress already Hypno - I bet it is cold though, not surprised you need a warm-up! Hope too that the bubble works for you today and you get through the day with minimal stress and unpleasant feelings.
Gallygirl - I too love your descriptions of the rushed scramble - really wish I'd know that tecnique when I was working with an former terribly negative colleague, they may well have been rushing every time IYSWIM!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
