Doodles, how lovely to see you!

So, brief house update.....surveys done, searches paid for, mortgage offer on the new house received, property information forms and fixtures and fittings forms completed.

Everyone still aiming to complete by Christmas, and I'm not aware of any reason as yet why this can't be realistic, but at the same time, I haven't packed a single box or filled a single charity bag since I accepted the offer!

So, I have a busy weekend, following on the birthday theme, then have taken Monday off work with the intention of getting well and truly stuck in.

Hi Hypno. You do have a busy weekend ahead. Lists thats what you need :)

Being dignified in public is definitely the way to go. You are a very dignified lady anyway so I guess that it feels like hard work but you would probably feel worse if you wasnt. I hope that you have somebody who you can confide in and just offload to when you feel the need.

I do wish, sometimes, I could post about some of the crap that is going on, but it wouldn't do anyone any favours, so I won't. This "being dignified" thing, can be pretty hard work though sometimes!!

And, of course, since it's on the Internet, anyone can find anybody's rantings and indiscretions for years and years, something a lot of the young 'uns need to keep in mind:eek::eek::eek:

And I'm sure you have your offline support lined up.

I've already been and edited a few of mine from when the going got tough. :o I believe that there are things called 'cached' pages which can still carry what was on an older version of a page, but I've tried looking at mine through them and can't see anything too incriminating. Bear in mind, I'm far from an expert, though - anyone else know anything we should bear in mind? :o

It has been a very challenging day, but it is now at an end, the children are with their father, and I don't have to do anything this evening other than snuggle on the sofa and decide when I want to go to bed.

This week has been one of crazy highs and the lowest of lows but things will sort themselves out in time, and will settle down.

I am looking forward to the weekend, though.

I hope you have all had a good day x
