I sympathise with you bob - it isn't much fun is it! I hope you feel better soon x
I don't feel bad off it, now the headache has cleared..i think it needed to happen as it has built up again from last time. My head is a lot clearer and i did sleep well, it must have been the right kind of sleep as Mr.B is away i was able to get to sleep straight away. Absolute bliss.:D I will put up with an icky nose for that i can tell you..:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

My DD1 is trying to save up for a fancy phone so I pay her £5 a week to do the ironing. Its a job she doesn't mind doing so a win win situation. I actually don't mind it but hate cleaning bathrooms. Then when I've done them I think that wasn't so bad. Some sort of mental block.

Lol, I know what you mean there, Bob!! I have to admit, I don't miss the additional sound effects now that they are no longer part of my life :rotfl:
I have been lucky with this cold - it didn't attack my head, so other than the sore throat, and streaming nose, and a bit of earache it has been bearable for work etc. Sleeping has been a bit hit and miss of course, but then my sleeping pattern has never exactly been reliable, so not much change there. I just don't want it to all hit my chest this close to the marathon.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I don't mind doing the housework now so much, although I obviously have the benefit of my cleaner for a couple of hours a week which does make a difference both to the general state of the place but also to my desire to keep on top of it inbetween times. The cleaner only does 2 hours, so her priority is the bathrooms, cleaning the kitchen floor, etc - the jobs that I don't get round to doing but that make such a difference. She also hoovers right through - which with 3 floors is a big bonus to me as I hate hoovering stairs - that means that I can tackle the rest of it with far less distaste than in previous years.
also, of course, I am just generally much happier, and more content so these things don't seem so daunting now!
And, I need to keep the house tidy, just in case Johnny Depp decides to pop by unannounced.......or if I bump into James Cracknell during my Friday night drinks and he wants to pop back to my place for coffee :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I have two golf ball sized glands, my ears crackle a bit, but no runny nose, i hate looking like Rudolph.
I agree you definitely don't want it hitting your chest this close to the marathon. I can't believe it has come around so quickly.:D Which reminds me i will donate when i get paid at the end of the month.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

But of course, that is an excellent reason to keep the house tidy, especially if he turns up in pirate gear..:blushing::drool::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

As you say, a girl can dream :rotfl:But I'm not taking any chances - could you imagine the embarrassment of having to turn him away just because the dishwasher hadn't been filled, or the beds hadn't been made :eek:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
