Thanks DT - it is just so lovely to be having a bit of a life, after so long in the wilderness! And as you can see, I am so so enjoying it.

And yes, it does show that there is light at the end of even the darkest and longest tunnel

Morning all.....unsurprisingly I went to bed tres early last night, and slept right through - could have done with a few more hours too, I reckon!

Still, coffee being had, and porridge about to be made, before another coffee and then out for a run. Runchum has cancelled today, so I need to be self motivated again today - so I must be strong with myself because today is one of those days where it is very easy to say "nah, not today".....but with only 6 weeks to go, I need to get out there and do something, even if it is not as much as I would have planned.....I will report back in on that front later on this morning, but will do at least 7 or 8 miles.

After that, and once I am showered and hopefully feeling refreshed, I will have an afternoon of pottering and doing the supermarket shop.....I can't be coping with anything any more exciting than that!!

Morning mac, you snuck in there while I was typing - no it is not over yet, but I really am not expecting anything exciting to happen today - I need a quietish one!!

(although if Johnny Depp were to drop by and offer to take me out for the day, I wouldn't turn him down in favour of doing the laundry.....!)

I'll get back into it though, now the days are getting lighter, but I need to get some events booked in to stop me saying "Nah, not today"

My run is postponed for another half hour or so - went to get my garmin which I had put on charge overnight - and the connectors had slipped, so it hadn't done anything! I don't really want to head out without it, so have put it on charge to hopefully get enough in it for a decent run, and will head out at 8.30 instead of 8......

I know I will feel the benefit of the run when I am out there - it is just that first push to get myself out of the door that is the difficult bit some days!

Just put a load of washing in, have my running kit on, will give my garmin another 10 mins or so and then please, shove away
