    Hi all,

just popping in to wish you Happy Baba Marta (Grandma March) - this is an old (pagan possibly) custom in Bulgaria. The celebration is for joy and plenty so very appropriate; we also exchange red and white tread but this is a bit hard - white does not work on this background. As for the red

    to all.

Ooh, I am certainly happy to celebrate joy and plenty! Thank you Firewalker :T

I was very good and moved my £116 council tax money to savings.....and will remember to do the same when March's is due.

The plan vaguely consists of getting some money into savings for the inevitable big expenses that are going to occur this year such as DDs driving lessons, repairs to the car etc, and then to work out how much I need to overpay in order to have the mortgage gone in 10 years time.

To be mortgage free at 50 would suit me nicely, although the plan has to include me being able to continue enjoying my life in the meantime, so very comfortable and manageable budgets will have to be formulated.
