  • I have seen all the versions of the 39 steps, but the original is the best and that show is on my list..:D

We got tickets combined with a meal for £20 - good seats too so worth looking aqround.

Its such a good show - and I agree the theatre is stunning

Pickle, I have no intention of changing my name at all - I was married for longer than I wasn't so I will probably just keep things as they are, although maybe I will drop the "Mrs" bit of it in due course - who knows.....at this stage it is too early to do anything, and I have no reason not to keep things simple.

So.....today I had the benefit of an extra hour or so in bed as I am taking DD to a physio appt this morning, before heading into work. Then will be going out for drinks this evening.....I don't want to be too late back because I am doing the airport run tomorrow morning, but it will be good to round the week off.

Happy Friday everyone - I hope you have a good one, and if it is your last day of half term, make the most of it!!

Happy Friday Hypno. And happy rest of your "single" life too. I am glad that you are feeling positive only good things can stem from that feeling. Very jealous of Les Mis, I have never been to a west end show (must put that on my list of to dos).

Yes, I am feeling v positive about the future. There is little point in feeling negative about the whole thing, What is done is done, and we have drawn a line underneath it for a reason, and that reason is to get on with looking forward. And there is no point in looking forward if all you are intending to see is grey fog.

I am lucky - I have good friends, of both sexes (mainly down to knowing the offside rule :rotfl:) which has, as you have seen, enabled me to pick up my social life somewhat now that the finances etc are not such a shackle. If the last few months are anything to go by, then the future is bright, and full of laughs, hugs, and general all round socialness :D

And that, combined with my lovely house, and my fabulous, well grounded children who are also very relaxed and happy, is what I need right now.

    Life is good x

You could always drop that bit to become Mistress Hypno... ;)
