and why not, Lucielle! It is Sunday after all, and Sundays should be one of those days where you do exactly what you want to do......I am learning that one, for sure!

Happy Sunday, Hypno, glad life is treating you well!
Off to work now for the afternoon. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Morning, Nargle....life is indeed treating me well. Could certainly be a whole lot worse, and compared with the stresses of recent years, this is infinitely better. Of course, as has been seen, there are still ups and downs, but I am much better at managing them, and incorporating them into the bigger scheme of things.
And I laugh more, and smile more than I have done for years. That on its own is priceless for meSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hypno, my dad passed on 18th Feb as well. It was a long time ago though and I was only 13. He was a lovely man too. I was very much a daddy's gril. I had a wee party on Friday night with some friends and cousins and we toasted him and recalled great memories we all had of him. I was nearly in tears yet again even after all this time. I hope you have managed toget the smile back on your face. xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
(hugs) to you too, then, MiT x I am indeed smiling - and was able to do so on Friday with some things that friends who knew him said to me.....there was laughter interspersed with the tears, and I am sure there will be for many years to come. But it is just a reminder of the fact that people like you and I have been very lucky to have those people in our lives, even though we would have liked them there for a bit longer.
So, today I have just returned from the City where I had a lovely afternoon with DD - a spot of shopping, including some bargains from Hollister which we weren't expecting, but were very happy to snap up, and a new touche eclat which I can no longer be without, and a treat of a new lippy
We had a lovely late lunch at cafe rouge, courtesy of the tesco clubcard vouchers, which just cost £5.50 for the drinks, and which we both really enjoyed.
Ski sunday on the telly now, which of course I love. We have also moved my treadmill into the house from the garage, as I need to up my running now I am only 8 weeks away from marathon day.....even though I have already been for a run this morning, I may do some power walking on the treadie this evening to offset some of the cafe rouge yum yums!!
Have a good evening, whatever you are doing xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Glad you had a great day but do you have a bottomless pit of tesco vouchers....I thought I had a lot but you must be sTacked with them, lucky you :-)0

Well, I do almost all my supermarket shopping there, and fill up the car too - and I use a Tesco credit card, and then clear it each month, so get extra points there too....and I also pick them up from my electricity bill and a couple of other bits and pieces like that, so they do add up nicely!
And I almost always exchange them for eating out vouchers - it makes a lovely treat for us which we otherwise couldn't afford, so is great!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Big Hug Hypno - sounds like it's been a tough old week - he sounds like a special man who has passed that 'specialness' on to his daughter too.
Can't believe that marathon is so close already - aren't you doing 2 faily close together.

Yes, a strange week, but hey, its at a close now, and tomorrow sees the start of a new one, and who knows what that will bring!
Yes, the marathon is getting scarily close and the Edinburgh one is just a few weeks later......I really do need to focus....I have been allowing my new found social life to get in the way of my trainingSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. And another week is upon us!
Had a really early night last night and slept well, tired this morning so will aim for another early night tonight and hopefully will start to catch up a bit.....oh to be on half term and able to turn the alarm off - my DD will not surface until lunchtime every day this week, I am sure!
Moneywise, it is payday this week, which I am looking forward to - I have only had one payday since I moved house, and there have been a lot of related expenses, plus my trip to Switzerland since then, so it has not yet provided me with a proper picture of how my money needs to be allocated. Hopefully Febs pay packet can be the start of a more settled budget, although I am happy with the way the money has worked so far - I don't think I am too far out with things.
Have a good day/week and enjoy half term if you are a beneficiary of that!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
