    Hi

Just caught up, I see there are a lot of special birthdays coming up.

FF - are you going to be 30 in December - if you are what day?
I am 30 in December (at the end) but not sure what I am doing yet.
    Mid-December.

I'm off to London with a friend and we're going to see Wicked :D

I hope you have all had a good day - mine was a bit dot-to-dot but I have filled 5 charity bags in total, one has been collected already, and the others will be tomorrow. Ironing is up to date, apart from the lot that is currently drying, and the lot that is in the machine, and I managed to get some more "day off" type things done as well such as having a coffee with a friend, having a soak in the bath, and reading a magazine, as well as going and having some bloods done.

So, all in all, quite a productive day off work - could do with the whole week off, but I will save that until closer to moving time when we have a proper date.

  • hi hypno,

firstly happy happy happy birthday, can't possibly compete with :money: but many happy returns and best wishes for a fantastic year to come all the same!

I too had a little tear and a choking of the throat reading your first post on your new diary. I only really got stuck into the last diary - I have lurked for a bit then discovered subscribing with a daily email update and that works great :D

I don't have children but did the D thing recently, and although it was quite amicable it was still very hard.

I have taken a lot of strength from MSE, it has really helped me sort myself out financially, and now I am back in control on that front, a few other things are starting to fall into place (after several shockingly devastating false starts!). THe most important thing I have learnt is how important the little things are and that these are often the ones that don't cost any money.

I have also taken a lot from your diaries, the amount you get through in a day is inspirational and when I am feeling a bit lazy I do think of some of the folks I read about on here rushing around like blue-arsed flies and shake myself out! But again, now I have a little focus back, things are getting easier!

So....good luck with the final push, your new pad looks wonderful and good luck with all your new adventures :j I'm sure you will be very happy in your new home xxx
