:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It is on my facebook status often enough, KC (well, about every Saturday.....) - I'm surprised you've not googled it before :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Nowt wrong with that, pet, so did I:D
Even better though: I'd Googled it before and forgotten what it meant:o
And, in a timely fashion, I learned a great new acronym from "Ladies of Letters Go Crackers" on Radio 4 this week:

HAPPY NEW YEAR HYPNO & ALL

I've done my initial "basic" budgets......and it is quite amazing what difference it makes not having payments going out to debts :rotfl:
I need to be careful I don't get carried away - I am not used to having a positive figure showing on my back of the envelope calculations.....:cool:
So, next job - make a proper list of must haves, would likes, and not too fussed abouts......then I can allocate what I have left in the most effective way in order that we get the most out of life
Not a bad way to spend an evening :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I'm also budgeting tonight - spreadsheet nearly done and I've also done a Christmas spreadsheet too
It's nice having a budget for haircuts :j0 -
I am glad I am not the only one number crunching F-F!
It really is quite amazing - when I joined this site, my minimum payments to non-mortgage debt were £2200 per month :eek: that is without my mortgage and basic utility bills, and also made no provision for food, petrol or general living!
Now, my mortgage and my basic bills and insurances come to £1709 all in......ok, food, petrol, and various "extras" have to come on top of that, but it is a far cry from the figure above!
So, firstly, I cannot really believe that we managed to pull ourselves through in those dark days of £2200 per month debt payments!
And secondly, I cannot believe I now have a budget for leg waxing :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
