Still in Germany but wanted to pop in to say Happy New Year. I see you are off on a holiday (v quick whizz through) and driving. It has been a great way to get to the Alps here in Germany so I am sure that you will have a great time. Enjoy yourself. You deserve it.

Morning all, and happy new year! I hope that there are not too many sore heads this morning, and that if there are, they were obtained in a fun and generally lovely way

So....challenge of the day is to get ready to travel down to the Alps in the early hours of the morning....but that means I need to find out where I am actually going - so this morning will be spent trying to locate the friends who we are house sitting for.....so far, we have done all our communicating via facebook because I have no landline, and she has a dodgy mobile phone.....but now that they are in the UK (I am hoping) I may have to resort to phoning his parents' house later today and finding an alternative number.....whatever happens, I will be going *somewhere* tomorrow :rotfl:

Then, this afternoon I am off to watch the football - big big match today so much excitement anticipated

No new years' resolutions made, as such, other than to continue my journey of self discovery, with as much fun, laughter and love as possible, and to deal with any negativity that finds me in a strong and respectful manner......before beating it to a pulp and getting rid of it once and for all

Here's to 2011 everyone - may it be happy, healthy, and fun filled for all of us xxxxx

Enjoy shopping, Urg! And as for me spending my surplus wisely - I am hoping that some of it will be enjoyed in a very unwise manner too

I have found the address for the house we are staying at next week.....sadly, my dongle is so slow that I cannot download a route map......and the sat nav can't find a signal, so I will just have to trust it as we set off tomorrow morning. All adds to the excitement.

DS's friends have surfaced and gone home - no problems there, so that is a good start to the day too.

Really need to clean through, and pack now......or have another coffee from my lovely new espresso machine

Happy New Year, my chrissie pressie was an espesso/latte/capp machine, plus grinder and even some Costa latte glasses. We have drunk far too much coffee since then!
