There, I'm off MSE for a few days, and you exchange (without the threat of sprouts :D) will become debt free by the end of the year and moved by Christmas :T

Thinking of you during the final packing and goodbyes, will be smiling at the thought of you walking into that lovely new house x

Oooh I like waking up early when I've got exciting things to plan. Even though it will be full-on, it'll be such a buzz!!! :j
    Have a good day x

December payday has come early - so now begins the task of making the money last until the end of January - I really want to do my new SOA with it, but can't just yet until I know exactly what money is needed for the move.....and whether the repayment of my loan etc goes through before the next monthly payment on 1st Jan etc. How frustrating!! Ah well, I will look forward to number crunching in due course....in my new kitchen :D
Number crunching in the new kitchen sounds lovely :D

I've been paid early too, but am pretending that the money isn't there. I hate having to make money last an extra week in January!

To be honest, this is the first year that I won't need to dip into the money early.....in previous years I have been glad of the early payday in order to cover the remainder of December's necessary spending, and have then obviously suffered, along with many others, as January progresses.

This year, regardless of the move, I don't have that same need to "borrow" from myself, so I am more than pleased :D

hmm.....would be nice to think so, but if 2010 has taught me anything it is that we never know what is coming next!!

Morning Hypno! I'm glad you *had* exchanged, what with meeting up with your solicitor socially

I was up about ten minutes after you, but sat looking at the Christmas tree so long I decided to get the gold paint out and go for it - I felt very virtuous :rotfl:

Hope today is good for you.

Oh! I painted the tree - I don't get a normal Christmas tree - for the last 5 years or so, I've had the top of an ash tree that needed cutting down. I use the top seven feet or so, and paint the actual tree gold! The old one had to go when I moved, it had dried out too much to be of any use, but there's a tree that needs to go at the new house too - its an ash lookalike, but it doesn't have those black buds. I'm painting the tree gold, but the green buds are still there - I'm posting lots of photos when I've finally done it, on my thread, as people have been requesting it :o it looks different, but I love it :j
