The incentive would be if they would actually accept and then turn up for the work that was offered. Sadly, too many won't as they'll loose their benefits.

And that's a story i'm hearing every day now from British workers. Rarely hear it from an eastern european

Perhaps it might be something to do with the fact that an Eastern European who you would appear to want to employ will be offered an hourly rate perhaps 3 times as much as they would get in Poland.
Afterwards you would pay them and they would send the majority of their salary back to Poland and so not contributing to the British economy. I'm not surprised it is a story you hear every day from British workers.

And that my dear boy is why you've not been offered any more work. It's fine to decline work - but theres no need to be rude about it. Manners cost nothing ;)

Wasn't at all rude Sexki11en, Just told them it was not on for them for me to travel 25 miles and work for 2 hours which meant I would be out of pocket and told them so.As I say turn work down and agencies appear to bin you for life.

Agencies are not there to help people seekingjobs?

Interesting. I can think of at least a dozen employment agencies who state career enhancement and guidance as the main benefit they offer candidates.

Oh what am I thinking of, they must have been, well, lets be generous and say they were being econmical with the truth?
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

And that's absolutely fair enough. You didn;t phrase it very well though "told them where to get off"
