And no, his feedback wasn't that bad when I bought
Didn't get a neg back either!

Like I said, when I bought, he hardly had any. And he was a powerseller, doing quite a lot of business. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I know I sell good stuff and post within 2 days so I have not the slightest worry that somebody is going to neg me, I leave my feedback for them just as I am about to post.....Feedback score 970 at 100%....and yes I have neg'd if they haven't paid...and have neutralled people who I have bought from and took an eterninty to send....
So as I say i feedback first but there is a very high percentage of buyers who never return the favour.... it works both ways0 -

You have good faith in your product and your customers, but I hope none of your items go missing in the mail... or get broken... and your buyer negs you before trying to sort things out.
If they do, you'll see what we're talking about. My TV is broken!

Bella your approach works for 99.9% of your buyers but you will eventually get one that will spoil your faith in people. In my early days I did it too. and learned the hard way.0

The very fact that I leave feedback first seems to make customers happy, If, in the future, I do get an odd neg, people will be able to see that is not the norm.
It's just my preference to do this.....Ebay does say that the buyer should leave feedback first though, so really no-one can complain. I would state in my listing that appropriate feedback will be left after feedback received and please contact me first before leaving anything other than positive so I can have the chance to resolve the matter.0 -

There are unreasonable buyers who don't give you the chance to do this before they neg. Hope it doesn't happen to you, but this thread shows a few people it HAS happened to, and it only takes once for you to be very much on your guard... especially if you had 100% up to that point.
Fair play to you anyway. My TV is broken!

hjb123 wrote:Same with me. I dont leave feedback until the buyer has left it and is happy and then it gives me chance to iron out any problems first. Also I know the buyer has received the item and isnt going to pull any stunts
If I am the buyer then I will leave feedback once I have received the item.
edit to say: when i'm the buyer, i leave feedback as soon as i receive the parcel, even if they havent.0
