All is not lost. You might still be entitled. It depends what she does. Here's a link from HMRC. Your local Connexions can give you more precise info

So you want your daughter to do something she doesn't want to so you can benefit financially, sorry that's selfish.
How can you go on the sick, you're a self employed cleaner, unless that is just a front to claim tax credits0 -
Hello everyone, I just need a bit of advice please. I am a single parent and my youngest is 18 years old and is currently at college. She has just informed me she wants to leave to and finish her course by going on an apprenticeship. I receive child tax credits and working tax credits at the moment, but i am worried that all my payments will stop when she leaves. I'm getting £125.00 every week for her as I am self employed cleaner and only work 17 hours a week. I have discussed this with my daughter but she is adamant she wants to leave college, but i'm sick with worry now as losing all this money will hit me greatly. Any help would be great, thanks Debbie
You are getting £125 a week in benefits for your adult daughter and you are now bricking it because she is deciding to choose her own direction in life?

One of the reasons I've not been on the site for some time is because there are many on here who use it as a forum for their own small mindedness. People come on to ask for help not to hear right wing viewsI'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!0

I use to work loads of hours but with the economical climate the way it is the last thing people want is a cleaner, plus on the down side i have a slight curving of the spine and have one leg, 1 inch longer than the other so my hips are out of sync and have trouble with my back. I dont want to go on sick as i have worked all my life. I dont know why your confused ??? I only asked for advice.
So you were fit for full time work, has your condition worsened?
If you are able to do seventeen hours physical activity a week I can't see you qualifying for any disability benefits.Gone ... or have I?0
