talking about Christmas with my son today I asked him what is the one thing he would wish for for Christmas and he replied "to have Christmas Crackers Frosty -Toes come back, even if it was just for one day" got me all choked up bless him. And i was worried that he was too old for an elf, and wouldn't enjoy it!0

How fab!!
Not been on here the last couple of days - Amy I hope you are feeling better now!! xx
I've been talking about this for a couple of weeks with some mums around my village... they are all in awe of it and think it's fab... I had about 10 recruits from the playgroup on Thursday!!Can see lots of 'combined mischief' coming up,... I'd suggested getting all the elves together in the play area when the children get to school in the morning.. relies on someone taking them all down tho and I am not the best morning person!! x

Christmas Pudding festive sponge.
It's made of towelling & very cute. Going in our christmas eve hamper! Great for children too (easy to hold) as it's roughly the size of a large orange/small grapefruit. Bigger than a tennis ball. Can't think of anything else to compare size with...this is on the Bodyshop website for £2.50. I ordered one with a shower gel for £2.92 delivered due to all the fabulous codes floating around.
May have to get some more !Lurking in a galaxy far far away...0 -
Hi All, Am new to this, but have had a quick read thru and I love the idea. I am so Christmas mad, I have 2 children, age 22 months and 3yrs 21 months, maybe they are a little young, but I wanna give this a go!! Right, so first thing seems to be to buy an elf, am going to have a hunt around!! F xx
hi,
as long as you keep things simple for them you will be ok. they may not fully understand mischief, but they will notice if the elf moves from "its place". my youngest was only 15months last year and he did notice wen they were not under the tree, he didnt understand the mischief though.

Hi! I'm new to this, but have been waiting years to do it! :j
I've joined the facebook group tonight too.
Still haven't settled on my elf, too much choice out there!Or get this doll for my daughter and a boy one for son and make some kind of attempt at making christmas clothes for them.
My children are mixed heritage, im white and hubby black caribbean so would like an elf with hint of colour lol x
What to do?
A bit late in replying but I came across a nice doll while searching through ebay, might make a good elf if you add a hat and some other bits? could also be a boy if you cut the hair short? I'm too new to post links but search for FAIR TRADE RAG DOLL BETHANY0 -
I intended to do this last year but never got round to it but I've picked up the knitting needles and my little elf is being created.
I cannot wait to join in and make up his facebook page!0 -
