Greenflag
A couple of weeks ago I bought Greenflags Recovery Plus which is everything bar the European cover, it was £48.70
I bought via quidco and got £30 cashback, so I've paid £18.70 for full cover including Home Start etc.
It's now showing on Quidco has £40 cashback...0 -

I have been on quidco but it does not show greenflag at all, I can't even get anything to do with car breakdown on their site0 -

Hello there.
I've just been caught out by AA Breakdown via Quidco.
I purchased AA Roadside via Quidco after seeing it in the weekly email.
Checked after a couple of weeks to find nothing logged for the transaction, so went to raise a query, only to find it says:
"AA UK Breakdown has a 60 day waiting period from the purchase date before it will consider queries about missing cashback. "
I therefore did not raise the query then but made the mistake of waiting the 60 days before doing so, only to be told the query has to be raised within 7 weeks.
I suspect they mean you can raise a query anytime you want within 7 weeks, but *Quidco* won't discuss the matter with AA until 60 days.
I think this is far from clear, and lost cashback as a result. Not a happy bunny.0 -
Just a quick note to say don't just accept the renewal price when it comes through. AA sent mine through today and I was genuinely shocked - £199.50. So I called them - first man I spoke to knocked off about £40 straight away, lady after that took off another £40, I then knocked off the 'relay' as think I just took it as an introductory offer last year bringing my renewal down to £97 for roadside+homestart for two people (would be £106 if I joined AA online today). I accept I could of got it cheaper still by going to the RAC and getting cashback but have been alternating between the 2 companies for 3 years now and decided it was just getting a bit silly - last winter the girlfriend called the RAC out when we were covered by the AA...!0

Had a message from Quidco support saying that they are changing the content of their pages to make it clearer. Thank you, Quidco. My confidence in you is restored.0 -
I use Swinton, who charge £45 for both roadside and homestart.0

I have a policy from Quoteline Direct, as they provide a full Breakdown policy with European Cover for only £59.
Further more, there is no vehicle age limit and if you do have an older vehicle (like me), then the premium stays the same at £59.
The site can be found at:

I need a basic breakdown cover today for a car less than 10 years old, today
Looking at the best buys it talks about rac through topcashback for £28 but I cant see a £28 offer.0 -
Has anyone tried the Green Insurance Company for breakdown cover? Am interested in aking it out but concerned by there not being a lot of reviews around to read. The reviews that are around are in relation to car insurance as opposed to breakdown cover, so your feedback would be appreciated. Thanks0
