So this includes all materials except a towel rail ?
how long does he say the job will take ?
Around here general builder charge between £120 and £150 a day and most would consider this a 5 day job dependant on the size .
get 3 quotes and ask for details of previous jobs ..

They said it would take 2 weeks. Which is odd as the bathroom is tiny. I'm sure it took only a week when i had it done 3 years ago...

A similar job took 5 days for us and included fitting a new shower as well. The price wasn't that different.

The bathroom is roughly: 167cm x 190cm. and the boxing for pipes are about 20cm wide over an entire wall and corner...

I consider this expensive/rip off. You said this was a 'deal' price due to you working for the company? Please post the company name so i can avoid them :-)

Lets take one item £180 for painting the room with paint you supply AFTER seperatly paying for him to prepare the wall. So small bathroom with tiling, doorway and I assume a window and its 180quid? what is the wall area to be painted?

    2 visits for a painter.

£180 is the only thing that isnt a rip off.
