MFI Wardrobes!

Hi
I bought some wardrobes from MFI (using Clubcard vouchers for a third of the cost).
To get straight to the point, I took a day off work to be in when they arrived and all went well. They turned up and I stored them in the garage, taking them inside one at a time to put them together.
I was putting a double wardrobes together and noticed it had a damaged back panel. Corner wardrobe - no bag of fixings and damaged end panels so phoned MFI and ordered a new back panel and bag of fixings and new end panels.
The replacement panels were being delivered today so I gave a garage key to neighbours. I came home from work and went to get the panels. They're worse than the originals! Fuming! And, no bag of fixings!
There's panels everywhere, clothes all over the place and visitors this weekend.
Should make for an interersting phone call tomorrow.
To be fair, I blame myself. I've never had anything from MFI that was right first time. Bloody rubbish.

GG

There are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those that don't.

it's funny isn't it coz we've just had a new kitchen and new bedroom wardrobes from MFI with absolutely no problems. There was a missing kitchen cupboard but they told me about this and it followed 10 days later as arranged. However my brother has a kitchen from them and has had problems. Guess I was just lucky.0

We also have had various items from M.F.I. With no problems at all. They arrived when they said they would and everything was in perfect condition. Also were easy to put together and have lasted.I suppose there is good and bad where ever you shop. Let us know what they say when you ring them. Hopefully you will be compensated. When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile0

I had a similar problem when I ordered lots of bedroom furniture.
They were efficient at sending out replacements (sometimes too efficient as I got duplicates) but often the replacements were damaged too.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
