Hi everyone
Just a quick update on my little challenge. I have won a CD-Wow voucher which I can use to buy a CD up to the value of £8.75 so that can be used for someone. I will have to wait to get some Christmas lists in so that I know who wants what CD.
I am also planning on doing the Kia test drive to get the £20 M&S vouchers so that I can give these to my gran.
I won a little toy tool set on Friday which I would give to my little cousin but it's his birthday next month anyway so I might as well give him this for his birthday and try to win something else before Christmas.
I hope everyone's Christmas shopping is going well and that you are all organised

Wow! good luck! If I see any good comps that could help, I'll post them for you.My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

Hi ehallett
I think last year I could have callenged you to a 'comping race' as I was winning quite regularly. I'm sure its due to the volumme of comps/entries, and mine was high like yours.
I sold a few prizes on ebay, kepp some, and gave some away.
Unfortunately this year I have been working full time, so I've only done a small number of comps, and not won anything.
In 2007, I might give you a run for your money!!!;):j0 -

You're on!! I must admit that comping does take up an awful lot of time so I tend to have little spurts of doing loads of entries one week and then not so many the week after.
I'm going to try and do this for all of my birthday presents next year too and also start on Christmas a bit earlier - say August!!

what a fantastic idea this is. It would work well for pressie all year round. We're big on anniversary presents and this might solve the problem of how to buy them will so little cash. Used to enter loads of comps and win but kinda let things slide. Wishing you well with your challenge!

I haven't won any more presents just yet. However, I found a prize that I won quite a while ago.
It was £100 worth of Moonpig cards. I forgot all about it, so I logged on to my account and I have still got £86 worth to use up!!
I've been having great fun ordering all of the special Christmas cards that I need (mum, sister, boyfriend etc). I therefore won't have to worry about buying any cards this year which sometimes can end up costing a small fortune
- I have also still got a load of cards from last year which I can use for work colleagues and friends.

Hey, that sounds like a really cool challenge!! I hope you make it!
My bargain christmas shopping challenge is not to pay full price for any presents. Fortunately we haven't got too many to get but still, its fun and I soo love a bargain.
So far, I've got my 1 1/2 yr old neice a puzzle and megabloks thing, should have been £15, got it all for £8.
My nearly 2 yr old daughter - dinner set from ELC. Should have been £10 but knocked down to £8 cos of a small dent. If you don't ask you don't get!
- Baby Millie + accessories. RRP £45, paid £20
Duplo deluxe set - £29.96, seen it for more and free postage
- Flower fairy lights. Bought in Jan sales, should have been £10, got them for £2.
Mum and dad - Using £10 tesco vouchers in deals for £40 voucher for a meal out.
Family friend - Formula One racing book - free from freebies board and am giving him a couple of books that we were going to put on Amazon (they look brand new).
Also got some lightspeed, quidco and pigsback points to convert as well, so they should do for my sister, MIL.
Bought crackers in the Jan sales last year - £2.99, should have been £10. As we are going to my parents for christmas, I am giving her our £10 of morrisons vouchers for food and bits.

We have a tradition in our family, we get main presents for each other and then 'tree' presents that remain under the tree until Boxing day.
me and my family used to do that too

You mentioned you use a "competition site" thingy
any chance you could PM me the site link? Might be worth looking into... I've been entering the comps on the comp board here (well all the small ones, not the telly, car or silly huge holidays ones
) but not won anything so far - drat
