Just wanted to second (or third) the advice about eBay - I buy a lot of my card stock, embelishments, stamps etce etc and kits from eBay - neer had a problem with the quantity or quality. I agree with the suggestion about QVC too - some good bargains some times!
PM me if you fancy a card making chat - and anyone else too for that matter!

Those cards are fantastic! I don't think my efforts are going to be anywhere near as good (I'm not very artistic at all) but I think I'm going to enjoy it :-)0

Ooh yes, I love the butterflies too.
I make cards using photographs I've taken (I lurve photography!) and blank cards from Hobbycraft or a place called The Range (I went in Colchester, but there might be others) The cards have a rectangular hole on the front and another flap of card behind it, so I cut the photo to size, stick it behind the frame bit, close the flap bit over and glue, and voila!
Very cheap, quite simple and fiddle-free, and I can pick pictures that mean something to the recipient. For example I made a wedding card recently using a close up photo of white flowers I'd photographed in the bride's parents' garden (without her knowing) and wrote on the back where the pic was taken. I had taken 3 pics of white flowers in the garden (close ups of flowers and leaves is one of the things I love doing) and put them in a multi-photo frame thing. I also put on the back of that where the flowers were from and it baffled the bride at first, but she loved it!
And I saw a boat on holiday with the name of a friend on it, so used a pic of that in a card for her birthday (she likes outdoorsy type things too. But she did ask me if the boat really was called her name or if I'd photo shopped the photo!) And I've done a get well card for a friend using a close up of a fern I took in a village in Ireland where he's also been on holiday (it's my dad's home village and my parents and brother took this friend there a few years ago and he had a great time.)
The list of possibilities is endless!0
