No, it does not look like shill bidding.

It looks like a stupid or inexperienced bidder who was trying to get her bid as the highest and just kept adding small amounts until she eventually outbid naz.2000. Naz.2000 would have put in a maximum bid of around £4.87 yesterday and ebay is just proxy bidding up to his limit.

His bids don't show because they are automaticaly placed by ebay, but debzmck11's do because she is bidding manually as she tries to become highest bidder.

Inexperience bidders seem to think that if they can become the current highest bidder it means something whereas, in fact, it means nothing unless they are still the highest bidder when the auction ends.

If you want this book, decide the maximum you are prepared to pay for it and bid that as close to the end of the auction as you can. That is the best way to bid on ebay auctions.

Check out her bidding history - she has only ever won the sellers items

not only that - look at all the sellers items - debzmck11 has bid on absolutely everything that the seller has placed on ebay.

    Definate shill bidder.

    Unfortunately ebay do naff all.

I reported one once to just find that I was blocked from every item that seller put on ebay & the guy was still bidding on his own items:angry:

Yes. I was looking at historical bids but she does look like a shill now.

Why would they? Shill bidding raises the price which makes them more money.

.. In the last 30 days she has bid on 17 items from that seller, and not won any!

    Lets ALL report suspicious behaviour

  • check out the other stuff she is selling all of which the same person is bidding on all of them too?! how do we go about reporting!?

All of these and more, they include books and car parts!270040366006,270040362413,270040363984,270038717334,270038726916,270038728620,270038748264,270038750052

I sent this to ebay with those lot numbers:

There are more examples. The bidder has bid on everything the seller sells, and has only ever won from that seller. The range of goods bid on includes books, rocking horses and car parts. Clearly shilling. I wanted an item up for sale by this seller, but will not bid against a shill.

go to contact us, then as topic choose "Buying and finding", then "Fraud problems" then "Problem not listed" then continue, then a link to reporting shills.
