-
i used to pay 20.00 for a colour and a cut but since i have been pregnant i have just let my colour grow out just sticking with my natural colour now0
-
I do my own colour at home (costs about £3).
I get a wash & cut done for £14 and don't get the blowdry (which would be £25).0 -
Just go to your local hairdressing college - I pay £2 for a cut (need this doing every 4 weeks as I have it clippered) - when my hair was 'longer', they only charged me £11 for a cut and highlights. I refuse to pay salon prices - do you know that hairdressing is 90% profit?!0
-
It can't be. Or at least not in terms of return on capital invested.
Do you perhaps mean your average hairdresser gets paid 10% of your fee?
Great tip, BTW.

i always go to the haidresser as a model is normally cost me about a fiver, my mum always goes to modeling school it costs her £10 for a cut and £20 for a colour. i am not sure if i am allowed to say the company, but it would cost you a lot more in there salons0

£8 for a trim every 4 months at the salon round the corner, which includes a free glass of wine  Works out at £24 for the year - bargain!
Got waist length hair, so it just needs the fizzy ends trimming off every few months, and it's blonde with natural highlights, so I've never had it coloured before.
The only downside is I can't have the wine next time as it's bad for babyHere I go again on my own....0 -
Well, I'm the same as beccles, have waist length hair....
I don't dye my hair...it'd take about 3 bottles now, and I just can't be bothered
I have two people cut my hair....I do search and destroy on the ends (get rid of any splits I see), and me ma does my fringe (I can't trust myself to cut straight)
So, £0 a year....I win :j only kidding guys:cool: Proud DFW Nerd 135 :cool:Sealed Pot Challenge - 0190 -
Ah just realised I spend on expensive shampoo and conditioner- John Frieda brunette - nothing else stops my hair from tugging/snagging - at £4.50 average per bottle - I'm paying far too much! So cheap haircut, but expensive hair products....boohoo.Are we still waiting to sing as hummingbirds?0

I pay £11 every six weeks or so for a cut and blowdry. My hairdresser is a family friend who works from home, but we don't get special rates. I used to pay £20 for highlights and c&b/d every other time I went, but am currently growing my colour out.Bank loan - [STRIKE]£9949.52 [/STRIKE]/ £8705.83 * Loan from DH - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE]/ £350 * Overdraft - [STRIKE]£0[/STRIKE] £648.47
