Great looking selection boxes, the Standard Final Fantasy box almost looks old school, Firework Wearhouse aren't repeating the same BOGOF offer this year are they?

They are indeed decent prices, but don't forget those prices don't include VAT.

I'll be visiting Epic this weekend. They've opened a new showroom in Sheffield which is apparently the biggest in the country.

I went to their old place in Batley last year and found the prices and service to be of the highest order.

The fireworks were great and were much better than the supermarket stuff.

I'd certainly recommend going to a proper retailer instead of a supermarket. The prices are similar but the quality is much better at a proper shop.

The lack of VAT on the prices is annoying, mind you Epic do the same, you have to mentally add the VAT to their prices to find the price you will actually be paying in store. 1st Galaxy fireworks pull the same stunt. Seems to be a trend with firework resellers.

Nearest JTF is Stoke for me, Epic about another 30 miles north, might be worth the extra distance, or visit both :D

On the epic site, if you click through to the firework in question it will tell you the total price (including VAT). It is annyoning that the shopping cart doesn't include VAT though.

JTF prices are comparable to Epics and some of their pieces get good reviews on the UKFR forums.

I'd rather go to Epic though as it's their profession and I'd imagine they could offer better advice. I also like that you can see videos of the fireworks so you know it's unlikely to be a dud. I don't want to spend £30 on one item only to find it's a piece of crap.

Going to both is probably a good idea! I love the fireworks season! Even looking at the poor offerings in Asda gets me excited and tempts me!
