Hi, I have the Tesco leaflet if you would like a look at what they have:
Hope there ok!0 -
Tesco's smaller selection boxes don't look too bad... but 5 roman candles or 5 rockets for £15 seems a bit much regardless of buy one get one free...0

It simply isnt free. what they do is get a pack of candles that is worth like £7.50, pack of rockets worth like 7.50 at the most and say £15 each buy one get one free. they are just single shot- they say "multi effect" which means each CANDLE has a different effect.
so you aint getting anything free but need to buy two of them or one of each
simialr candles here: http://www.fireworkfactory.com/roman-candles-133/
notise the prices- £2.25 or three for £5
6 for £2.99
or for bigger ones £5.99, one is £5.99 buy one get one free.
star fighter and kimbolton coliseum are more than one shot per candle, too.
So the tesco ones, single shot are going to be similar to the £5.99 ones.0 -
Pretty disapointing selection from the superstores this year...Tescos stuff is much the same as last year, that £5 box i picked up for £2.50 when they reduced them all last year..was worth £2.50!0

After looking through the various shops and supermarkets, I've come to the conclusion that it's probably best to buy from a big specialists. Looking through the various websites, Epic Fireworks seems to be the best. Only problem is that it's £50 delivery so I'll have to collect them.
Fortunately, they're quite near to where my gf's parents live so we can combine the trip :money:
http://www.epicfireworks.com/ - for anyone interested (I have no association with them whatsoever)0 -
