  • Hi Guys.

I have had my Latifs refund today too.

Just to note - anyone going to Latifs, text Bang to 81156

Free 7 pack of rockets with this text when you spend £5 on fireworks at Latifs Discount Warehouse. See before you buy - fireworks videos at www.latifs.co.uk

Also newspaper advert yesterday for "Pauls Discount Fireworks" - seems he stocks a few brands, when I called I was told 9 brands and over 200 fireworks in stock - based on the Coventry Road Birmingham - small map on the article.
In the paper he is advertising the 'Absolute Fireworks" brand which a lot of can be seen at www.fireworkscrazy.co.uk and they all seem upto/around £10 cheaper than on that site. Will upload the newspaper articles later on when I've had chance to scan it.

True MSE style is to sit near a window where you will see how plenty of other people habe let their money go on pretty patterns in the night sky = cost nil, enjoyment to children just the same, enjoyment to adults greater as it is warmer indoors.

You're a fireworks killjoy who doesn't like people enjoying themselves setting off fireworks for friends and family;cheapskate!

But if you buy the really good 1.3G fireworks you can have great displays,it's the 1.4G stuff that's crap;she suggests not buying any at all, but that's boring! Who wants to spend a night in watching other peoples displays? Doesn't beat a well organised private fireworks party outdoors with friends and family round enjoying it! Staying in is the preserve of a bore(which she and the other people who follow her tip is)!
  • People moan about wasting money on fireworks yet others can waste it all on fags and booze, fags are an even bigger waste of money and offer no entertainment value at all and also kill you slowly.

We bought some fireworks yesterday (not for bonfire night, but something else).

We went to JTF and found some Bright Star make because we were told they are good. One thing to note is that they all seem to have Guy Fawkes on them because that is JTF's cover. But many of them are Bright Star; you just have to ask which ones.

We also asked for Men-Shun, but they said they've gone bust.

We didn't notice any great offers, but we're expecting good quality fireworks.

JTF have some great Fireworks in all the fireworks there are Brightstar even know the hav many diffrent names! Brightstar have that many diffrent names Esco,Guy Fawkes,Night Star,Star Burst,Red Dragon ECT,ECT lol. I know the chap who owns Brightstar and he has just bought Men-Shun as thay got themselves into financal difficulties along with Cosmic Fireworks.
  • What is the TNT stuff like, does anyone actually know? And why is everyone using it?

I personally don't mind paying for it if it's any good.....also need to work out the best deals....

TNT isent the best stuff around its what used to be millenium pyrotechnics but TNT bought it off my friend Leon Hutchinson The reason all supermarkets are stocking TNT this year is because Cosmic Fireworks & Men-Shun went Bust.
