I have some safety advice for displaying;if you are displaying with fireworks all set out and doing a general display of category 2 garden fireworks and category 3 display fireworks or are doing a show of all category 3 display fireworks, then it's a good idea to wear;
(a)fire retardant overalls,
(b)and a hard hat with built in mesh or clear visor and built-in ear-defenders.
The overalls protect your clothes from melting/burning caused by falling sparks, hot effects and debris, and the hard hat stops anything hot or any debris falling on your head and causing burns or injury, the visor protects your eyes and face from sparks and the ear defenders protect your ears from ringing with loud whistles and flash reports. Whether you wear gloves or not is down to personal choice;I find these hinder the firer.
However if all you intend to do is a smallish garden display with garden class category 2 fireworks or are just doing the old "light one and run routine" with a box of fireworks or a few fireworks i.e. small family garden firework display, then a pair of safety goggles or safety glasses and a pair of gloves will be just fine for this.:)0 -

Can't wait for the brochures to come out!

Nothing special although maybe 'ghosty' could be a decent fountain like the pink champagne from Sainsburys last year?
Will be keeping an eye out for the free fireworks pack again this year as I was really surprised last year the cakes were rather good for 'free'!0 -
Tesco are doing Standard again this year! I am thinking of getting the Standard Endeavour selection box and the mixed pack with fountains cakes barrages and mine called Standard Evolution;)0
