Hi juliebunny. first can i say i love cats and of course this isnt the best time of year for pets and wildlife.
As for spending £50 on fireworks which are going to go up in smoke ,that isnt a lot nowadays on keeping going a tradition which goes back hundreds of years.
For you it is a waste of money. I can think of some things which are a waste of money,, sky tv ,alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, women having their nails done in a chinese nail parlour.
im sure others will have their opinion, but we live in a free country for now and we should celebrate that.

Or having more than 3 pairs of shoes, stupifying!!
  • Don't forget that seasonal fireworks shops can sell up to the 10th Nov, so keep an eye out for any last minute bargains when sellers may try and dump their stock!

Also, spotted this on eBay for 99p - ends soon though!!
