The Great Cheap, Safe Fireworks Hunt

Not sure yet, what would you recommend? Ive got Launch Kontrol was maybe planning on fireing a few of the little stars along with one of the bigger cakes at once?

Some brilliant stash pics being posted on here!
It has got to be El Ninjo and if you have got launch kontrol then I would send up a few rockets in the closing few seconds of the cake. But that is my preference as I like to savour my pyro and unless you have a large firing area where you can take advantage of fanning the cakes then better to use them alone to woo the audience.0 -

A factory near me has some posters up in the windows advertising them. I think they are made by Diamond Fireworks.
from the look of them, they are WILDLY overpriced. But then again, they may be that good to warrant the rrp.
Anyone have any experiences?
We got their mega boom SIB last year and was very poor quality, it broke appart half way through firing, we also god some of their rockets which very bad too, would spend your money on some supermarket stuff imho.0 -
Not too sure on the rockets, never had them myself although I don't think people were too happy with them last year sadly, because they didn't produce much of a bang.
To say they didn't produce much of a bang is an understatement. I bought some of these LIDL rockets last year and putting it bluntly, I've heard hedgehogs fart louder ...
Generally I've found supermarket rockets to be mostly naff, so now I avoid.0 -
We seem to have a lack of firework shops down in Bournemouth does anyone know a good one?
We used to get brilliant deals from bookers cash and carry but they have stopped doing them this year.
Are makro doing fireworks this year?0 -

Just called makro and they are doing bright star fireworks and seem to have some good deals. Not used this brand before. Is this brand ok?0 -

Brightstar are an OK brand but you should never pay full RRP - expect about 50% off, that is the pricing structure they have.
Two really good peices spring to mind Raging Spiders and Battle of Midway from Brightstar range.0 -

Yeah I usually take my time and fire them one by one, just thought with their being 9 of the little stars I could afford to fire 2 or 3 at once along with another, maybe I could fire them one straight after another building up to el Ninjo, with Launch Kontrol?
By the way I only have the launch Kontrol because it was going cheap in the Maplin sale a couple of years ago and I decided to buy eclips this yearI prefer firing by hand and at once but its a bit of fun for a change!
Also, to post your stash pic you just need to upload it to somewere like photobucket/ flickr or something then copy the image link0 -
