Oh right ill steer clear from ASDA then. I can get to a LIDL yes.... can i get more for my money there or something? Any names of the fireworks that i should remember? (god im such a novice!!! haha)
Yes, 50 quid looking for a selectrion box with a few rockets....
JTF or LIDL...? Cheers0 -
you arent too bothered on noise so i would go to JTF.
heard good things about the LIDL Cyberbox but no experience myself.
I know the 25 carat, ipanema and cyberbox are on 3 for £20. you wouldnt be disappointed.
then i'd get a selection box from JTF along with a rocket pack.

if it were my £500 -
I might just push the boat out and go for the Armoury from JTF. save 200 quid. Sounds like a steal to me for 99 quid.0

i have one of those. see my pics a coupel of pages back.
remember with JTF you have to add 20% VAT on top. so the armoury box is £120.
still a good buy though. you get lots of rockets. some big cakes and a nice big bahooma mine
you get sparklers too. :T0 -
WOW!!! you must of spent a fortune on all those mate! Nice one. How much did that set you back if you dont mind me asking? Did you buy all from JTF? Im lucky my neighbour is a member and is willing to go halves on it.... i might get a bit carried away in there.....
Sparklers for the Mrs too, winner. Keep her happy0 -
all in all about £250 to £280 i reckon. rough guess.
but at JTF i spent £170.
got the armoury, the hellfire barrage, the green selection box, some rockets, a crazy frog (if you have kids, get them a crazy frog - they'll love it) got some sparklers and a couple of other barrages.
all in all that would have been enough and a really good display. but i keep seeing shops and i...cant....say....no

Don't forget you have VAT on the JTF fireworks so really the Armoury is £120 at the checkout.
If you were sticking to your £50 budget (none of us do) then there's a decent bang for buck as follows :
1 x Cascades Selection Box - JTF - £16.95 + VAT = £20.34. Some bigger fountains, rockets, small barrages, roman candles, nice wheel etc. Not the best fireworks in the world but well worth £20
1 x Cyber Box, 1 x Ipanema, 1 x 25 Carat - Lidl = 3 for £20 deal. Very good quality German import fireworks, even the little selection pack packs a punch. The Ipanema & 25 Carat cakes are also top drawer for their size (and cheap!) You could drop one of the cakes and replace it with a rocket pack, Cocktail of Rockets, if you fancied more rockets but they aren't famously good. OK though. OR keep the cakes & get the Aldi Jet Blast rocket pack for an additional £10, these are supposed to be the best of the supermarket rockets. 14 pack.
1 x Firefighter - Lidl - £9.99. Finish off with this, great finale piece for a small garden get together. Make sure you have 25m for the cakes though.
Cascades - JTF :
Cyber Box - Lidl0 -
JTF is great for those living near one...i dont!! grrr.... Too late to order online now. Any other reccomendations? supermarket ones maybe? Lidle would have most certainly sold out at my local store as its not especially big0
