I've got up to about £250 to spend on a decent display that'll last about 1/2 hour. Preferably some nice cakes, so not loads of different things to light.

I've got these places near me:-

As well as ALDI and LIDl.

Any suggestions? Where's best to get them and anything really good I should look out for?

What do you this of that pack? I like the fact that it's got 3 100 shot cakes in it.

Are these worth the money? They look quite look to me.

What pack out of the 3 would you go for?

Some amazing stash pics on here this year!! I sooo love this time of year, not managed to get on here since Saturday and I come back on now and see 4 new pages :D

Thanks for posting the pics :)

Also Tricky I picked up a pack (or two as they were bogof) of the Sainsburys shot tubes, not fired any yet but there a lot bigger than I expected, they are also fairly heavy too :D

    Role on next Saturday!!

  • furiousjammin looks like a big stash you have there gonna be a long gfn for you me thinks lol

  • thanks guys smile.gif

no list but i can give rough prices etc.

heres what i can remember off the top of my head... (prices may be out as going from memory)

The Armoury Box £120 from JTF
Bonfire selection box from JTF around £7 i think
    Funky Frog fountain JTF £6
2 packs of bright star air bombs from JTF this year spec sad.gif but still ok smile.gif £10
2 x TNT selection box from ASDA (last years stock - good)
1 x TNT selection box from ASDA (this years stock - not so good)
    2 25 carat from Lidl (3 for £20)
    1 ipanema from LIDL (3 for £20)
    1 firefighter from LIDL £9.99

various cakes from local warehouse... £40 for around 4
Jessicas Dream 1500 shot DRD £12

Open Fire from Galactic Fireworks £35
    2 x Thunder King 25 shot cakes - loud smile.gifsmile.gif from Galactic £12

i bought the initial stuff from JTF then went to local shops seeing what deals they had on, did my homework on youtube etc to see the videos and get the opinion on the brands. My collection made up of Paramount, Brothers, Dancing Red Devil, Bright Star/Star Burst/Guy Fawkes/Esco, TNT, Standard (And some strange french bangers that sound like TANK FIRE (deafening smile.gif )

all in all i reckon i have spent around £240 this year.

may pick a couple more bits up but nothing major.

Where did you buy the loud French bangers? I'm after fireworks, the louder, the better. Would you recommend anything which makes a serious sound?
